The police said I would receive a summons in the mail and I never did. That was about 5 months ago... Unless the mailman is a slow walker... Good idea, make it up as you go. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I dont know all the legal terms. What I mean is if police are not professional and rude they can get into trouble. They are there to uphold the law not insult people, even if the people are stupid, dangerous and unlawful. Take Care.

By the way it is not legal for officers of the law to be offensive. An officer I know got suspended for calling another person I know a 'tool' or 'idiot' or some such minor insult. Food for thought. P.S. I am thankful to most police that they give most people a fair go...

Harden up? Ive been throu the hardest stuff like being in hopital for 100 operations and having to put up with all the crap that comes with it. I dont get offended easily etc etc. sorry off topic. That said, I have been puled over many times and the police have been more than good. Ive been let off for a lot of little and big things that I maybe shouldnt have. Like unroadworthy motorbike in about 5 ways. But the officer understood I had good reason. Im for the police! But there is a good percentage that need some humble pie and ruin the name for the rest like has been said ^ They also need to crack down on the real reasons for deaths on the roads more than just some of the pathetic things they pick on, e.g. wobly seat or seatbelt is faded too much Im wasnt whinging at all (took my comments in wrong context, I guess because no tone or expression), was just adding to the post. So what happened........did you get an infringement notice? Did you get a summons for Court or did they just give you a gobful to make sure you realised that what you did was pretty stupid on a public road and they let you go. If that's the case I think you got off lightly......in fact I think you should be grateful you only got a gobful and had no monetary or license penalty imposed. I was a P plater in a auto VN at the time The officer also gave a false speach to me saying I would loose my licence and get a fine, when he didnt know that, because it is up to the courts. He didnt tell me what offence I was commiting I asumme he could have only got me for the unneded smoke and/or noise. It wasnt around a corner or it wasnt a line locky. There was no smoke at all. All I did was plant it as I took off in a straight line and the tyres lost traction and spun for 1 or 2 seconds.

But in court wouldnt it mean enything that the officer said he would only give a fine and then lies and summons you to court.

Guys, what would have happened if tuffxr6 admited to doing more than 150 like the cop said? Would he not have to only have given him a fine because he admited it!? He couldnt have taken his licence because he said one thing, and couldnt lie?

The police once said I was going to loose my licence for doing a small wheel spin (2 seconds). They said they will summon me to court. They intimidated me in an over the top way. They intimidated my girlfreind more than me, interogated her and made her cry. In the end they droped everything and didnt even bother with court... Some hope. Take it to court! With all members have said you should get the 140 penalty

Falchoon, I dont beleive you have never sped and had a bit of a go with someone else on the public roads, maybe not speeding but never even dangerous driving?? Give the guy a break hes worried here. Nearly all crashes happen for other reason not by having a little fun go to 140 on a highway. Its usually alcahol, fatigue, speeding or going to fast for a decent persiod of time, eg on a trip home, different from having a tiny 'squirt'. Yes its illegal and no I dont do this but the media does lie... Personally I am in more control when Im driving a little hard and fast because im alert and concentrating the most likely time for me to crash is sitting on 110 on the highway on a long trip because you tend to not concentrate and relax too much. Im sure tuffxr6 wasnt half asleep when doing a small 30km over the limit. With a good lawyer I dont beleive they can nab you for more than 140. Firstly you have a witness that says the police car was catching you not trailing you at a their own constant speed of 140. He wouldnt have tried to use scare tactics if he was certain he had you for 150. Truth is the police dont know what speed you were doing and that with a leniency rate or error, then you should not loose your licence. All this is just my opinion im not saying I know anything or am right just ideas...

Amp is on the left hand side of the boot behind the carpet. You will see a slight lump. I have not been impressed with the AUX jack as the quality of devices pluged into it is really bad. Am triing to find out why. Im not sure how many poeple experience the bad aux quality problem.
