hey ppls, bought my car with the current mags, turns out they use to have a silver lip, and have been painted over. hit a curb last week (shudder, so little rubber on 20's), mags ok but took off some paint. was wondering if any1 knows of a place in perth to get them resprayed. thanks

ive seen ALOT of ppl with XFT done cars... seems like a good place... hmm.. decisions. any1 know of the best place for - 1. mag painting 2. scratch repair (have a tiny 1 on my door that sh*ts me, esp on a black car)

what did u do to get 350?

yeah, the standard 15psi tune up with the flash tune... I dont know what it went like stock, any1 shed some light on standard to basic tune feel of the F6? hope to do the upgrades in a month or so, apparently should be 350-380kw at the wheels?

hey Kice, look forward to seeing more. always wondered about Alpine Vs Pioneer. ive always used Pioneer/polk-momo up till now (4 x 6" splits, 2x10" polk subs, dvd player, 1000W rms mono + 4 channel pioneere amps in a Subi). wanna upgrade my F6 ute now so be good to see how u go

well, mine was tuned there 'pre' me buying it... went back there the other day to see what had been done. im now looking at the 'injectors/fuel pump/pipe kit/re-tune' job and was wondering the best place to get it done.

well, im flying home 2moro, so if u se a black F6 ute cruzing... tis me. going to hit the rego place this week to get a custom plate. normal WA rego just doesnt do it justice. speaking of which, any1 here use BPTmotorsport for tuning?

yeah.. could be 1/2"-1" lorer, but depeds if u have any1 sitting in the rear... or put much in the boot. would sit perfect if u have to be a taxi for the night.

tis y I have always serviced my own car, till now, I get my F6 done by my local tune shop. Dealerships get a reputation for selling cars, not servicing, service centres have to do the job properly or u dont come back. had a few mats buy new cars and take it in for the first few services, they always seemed to miss things or just not do a good job... maybe it was just the dealers in the town, maybe its a general rule of thumb... just my opinion... ohh, and back to my main point. does any1 know how I can increase the "tututu" sound? or is that a sount it shouldnt make (insted of the 1 chuuuu sound). can u re-plumb the BOV so not all the pressure goes back into the intake pipe? I think I remember some1 saying that the air flow sensor needs it to be piped that way for the cpu. any1 able to shed light on that 1?

hey guys, just picked up a '08 F6. it came with a fancy leather folder with a bunch of paperwork, but no manual.... does FPV come with normal "user manuals" or are they on optional extra, or did mine just not come with 1 (bought 2nd hand). im trying to work out the sat nav (yes, seems simple but its not as easy as a garmin etc) and would like to read about the rest of the car. thanks for any help

correction, 20x275's... sorry, and looked at my rims 2night, they are positive offset but dont know how much. its been lowered aswell, tyre just sits above guard, misses the edge by ... 5-10mm. ill post pics soon

got 20x270's on mine, lowered, havent had a problem yet. but will have a look when I get home.

did u just install the Dynamat on rear wall or dors aswell? been thinking about it myself... do it yourself or have it done?

well, after driving manuals since I could reach the pedals (joys of growing up on a farm, had my first car at 10), my F6 is the first auto ive ever owned. didnt think I would ever get one, as I love driving properly. but after driving the ZF im sold... driving normaly (very hard to do, it always wants to step sidways) I never notice it change gears. so smooth. its in the gear I want 90% of the time, and when u put the foot down at 70km/h it slams u back in the seat, or makes the traction control light go nuts... yes, it has a fraction of delay, but if I know im gonna need it I slide it into performance and it just sits in a lower gear. and I love that each time it changes gears its already on boost. I mean I love the thought of dipping the clutch each gear and getting the "woosh", but its worth the loss to have more power.
