  1. Had my previous car tuned by C&V Performance and no problems there. Heard Tunehouse are ok also.
  2. Agree with what others have said. The car has been flagged for warranty issues so get a good tune and enjoy the car. My previous car had similar issues and got the air/fuel mixture changed via a tune and the fuel pump got changed. Car was BA XR6T auto with 322rwkw. This thing would stall while driving but yours sounds a bit different. Tune it and enjoy it I reckon.
  3. Well I am pretty sure mine is not fuel as I have tried Shell, Caltex,BP and Mobil and makes no difference. It does it when car has not been started for a few hours. The initial acceleration through the first few gears is hesitant but then all good. Maybe I will get Ford to plug it in the computer and see if its thrown a code. Car only has 3000kms and its done it from day one. And I dont believe the car needs to warm up when stationery for ages like the ol' Fords had to. Mine idles for 60secs,tops, in the morning and then I gently take off as most do. Thanks for the replies.
  4. Much prefer the Mal Wood shifter, just more precise than the factory one which was pretty good but this one is just one step up. Yeah I am going to put SSL and SSSL on this week as it needs to go down further. Hesitation only on initial acceleration. I take it easy when leaving home so I am not up it. Its not bad and comes good afetr a few gear changes.
  5. Hi all, I gotta FG F6 310 6 spd manual and she has 3000kms on it. I have noticed when I start her up in the morning and let it warm up a bit for a minute or two, that when I take off it hesitates and "misses" for the first few 100 mtrs when going through the gears. Actually it feels like you are about to run out of petrol. It even does this when I get back in the car in the middle of the day after sitting there for a few hours. Its not bad but its noticeable and comes good shortly after. Now I had a modded XR6T BA auto and never had this issue, even when it was stock. The F6 has had its 1000km courtesy check and I havent changed the oil yet and car has no mods other than a Mal Wood short shifter and Kings lowering springs. Any thoughts ?
  6. Great looking car dude. Black with dark argents looks da biz. Drive safe and enjoy that beast.
  7. Spot on *Beep* ........... fronts are ok I think but maybe need the sssl on rear.No racing for me so not an issue just dont want front too low due to driveways, speedhumps etc. Dont want to change shocks at this stage but will get Konis way down the track.
  8. Hey all, Just got some springs put on about a week ago and not quite sure if they are low enough in the rear. Quality is excellent and the ride is great. Maybe another week and they will be fully settled but dont think it will drop much more in 7 days.Obviously dont want the real slammed look but maybe a touch more would be good.
  9. Car looks great buddy ........
  10. Looks great my friend. What springs you got on her as rear looks pretty loooow ?
  11. Congrats, wonderful choice. Same as mine but mines a manual. Now just slam that sucker !!!!!!!! Enjoy..
  12. Congrats man ............ gonna be a long wait for you but well worth it. White looks great with the contrast of the raccon eyes and dark argents. Black looks fantastic but its a bugger to keep clean but I am fairly fussy with mine so its no biggie.
  13. Congrats on the new car, beautiful. Got mine a few weeks ago and loving it. Is yours auto or manual ?
  14. Sutto, This will be my first time so as you are a Sydney boy you should come along.
