well you don't see ls1 breaking rods and there throttle bodies are at the front, know of a couple of guys with factory manifolds and still did rods 5/6. don't like to say but like *Beep* says could it be a surge issue. when I had no surge take and with half a tank or less going up a hill would get a little surging. put surge take in and can go up same hills with less than a qtr and guess what no surge.

I can assure you if everyone went and got vcm tune or sniper tune and stopped getting xcal boxes watch how cheap they get. but and a big but is if people do stop buying and herrods stop bringing them in watch how high the prices of vcm and sniper become. I don't know what they are paying for xcal boxes but in business the cheaper you pay and the more u can sell them for the more money you make.

what has me wondering you remove the top half of the intake to replace withhigh performance plenum, but your bolting it to the stock bottom half of the intake. so would it not still be restrictive. and why haven't the after market shops just build a full intake plenum like the fg one piece intake manifold. I don't see the sense in having 1 half flow really well and 1 half not.

you can order what comp cover you want, some are free and some you pay for. my mate darren who put me on to them bought 1 from there 6 months ago when dollar was 83cents. told customs for race car no import tax. when it got here identical to ours straight bolt on no modifying at all. been on now 6 months still good. like I said ratter would like to buy in aus and support local industry, but why when you can buy a aus product overseas for less why would I throw away a extra $500 to $700.

was looking to get turbo rebuilt cheapest was $850 to $1150, so a friend put me onto ebay canada, got onto a company called, iwt racing devolopment inc. brand new garrett gt3582r or as we know them gt3540. was $1281 converted and add $100 for internal gated socomes out to $1381. with the dollar so good I ordered 1. so with the price of turbo and delivered comes out to $1470 fedx will have in 8 days. will keep old one as a spare, and no will not sell. I know we should support our aus companys but at the priced they charge how can we. honeywell who are garrett charge so much when I can buy there product overseas at a cheaper rate and I get a new turbo.

spoke to sam at tempe's and those are original simmons as the bought the rights to simmons and own them. that pic was done at 9 am this morning. rears are 22 by 10s fronts 20 by 8 the rear is mini tubbed . those rims are a prototype and should be on the market within 2 weeks. down side not cheap he said. would not give a price. but I don't think you see much change from 6grand if that's the case.

you should be fine, just don't go over 2500rpm, had my car tuned once with a boost leak at 14psi then found leak fixed it major overboost 20+psi nearly killed tuner who put everthing on car, split rubber connecter after throttle body, drove 3 weeks with it hardest thing to do without sticking it. just becareful and drive like a nanna.

my uncle's fg f6 aircon went yesterday as well, seems like ford needs to do a recall it looks like it's happing 2 alot of fg's. that's not all 19000kms sterring rack making noise,left rear window not working,left wheel brake pads down to half when right looks brand new, and thermo fan went on but did not turn off,fixed under warranty but what next, mind you went from a hsv to this and I think he's regreting it.

depending which state im in vic and got racv to do check for me when I bought mine, had books but still got it checked was there when they done it. they did everything from compression test,all driveline,testdrove for a good 15mins, yes mine is a x cop car and he was impressed with it, and if your there when he does it pay him extra $100 cash get him to write sum problems in like diff clunk,slipping auto, then go in for the kill and get a cople of grand off, trust me racv dudes don't get paid that well so extra $100 comes in handy hope that helps.

to me it seems that you blokes and girls should be driving 4cyl, if you are worried about fuel economy. im pretty sure most members on here don't buy or mod there cars to get fuel economy. one week I will get 300ks then 450ks but I don't stress bout it, if you want to save money sell your car and buy a fiesta or focus ford have really good deals on them at the moment. simple we don't buy these cars for there fuel economy.
