Theres a cruise on sometime soon CDAA, I am also on AFF, as BA GT-HO and have seen your Supra on there and drooled over it. Would love to see it in real life and hear that thing screaming in the hills. You should come out in it, I am sure no one would mind that it isn't a BA!

The tyres didn't squeal much, just a fair bit of smoke. It wasn't that big a burnout, just maybe 3 - 4 seconds on the spot then drive off in a cloud of smoke.

A while ago I pulled up next to a grey Lancer with a huge kit and clear tail lights. I didn't really look it over because as soon as I saw the clear tail lights my attention went elsewhere. Anyway he gives it a bit of a rev which got my attention so when the lights went green I thought to myself "hmmmm this will be easy." He launched like there was no tommorow and I didn't stand a chance, he got about a car and a half on me. Next lights I pulled in behind him and saw the badge: EVOLUTION IV Edit: He lives a few streets away as well and it is actually a really nice car except for the taillights.

Open your console lid and there are little slots where the coins go so they dont rattle around. I find it pretty handy and clever because you don't hear the things rattling around.

I paid $1.01 the other day at BP for Ultimate on Payneham road. that's as low as I have seen it sadly. Also picked up some XT rims and tyres for the track day and various other 'activities of interest.' $200 for four plus the hubcaps, 90% tread.

I have test driven a 2nd hand auto XR8 (25,000kms) and your right, before 3500rpm your left wondering "what the hell is going on?" It has a bit of top end rush but what fun is that if it takes for ever to get to that point? Great noise though, but it still doesn't beat when your doing about 40km/h in the T and floor it.. You get nailed back in the seat! The XR8 didn't do this...

Got my car back yesterday (friday) afternoon, very happy with the repair work. They even cleaned the interior so it was spotless and deoderised it so it didn't reek of paint like last time. They may have taken their time but well done Maughn Thiem! (bloody stupid name though!) I have gone through 3/4 of a tank in 1 and a half days just in the hills. Great fun, I had forgotten how powerful these things really are. Driving a 1.8l Focus for 2 weeks puts it in perspective. Hope everyone had a good xmas. Boxing day test tommorow (best part of xmas!)

Does anyone have any (or know someone with) spare steel rims off an XT that I could buy if this track day goes ahead? I don't really like the idea of melting expensive Dunlops..

Who thinks Bangladesh are wasting everyones time? Shouldn't the ICC let Kenya into test matches before Bangladesh? Kenya made it to the semi finals in the last world cup and actually have some quality batters and bowlers. They have beaten test sides like Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh before so why not let them in? Bangladesh are ranked last on the ICC rankings with ZERO points! They have not even drawn a test!

If you read back through this thread you will see what happened, I am sure I had photos of the damage somewhere back a few pages. Basically the first time it was hit by a drunk driver (who did a runner) while it was parked. After that was all sorted and repaired it was then hit a second time by a lady while it was once more parked outside my house. Not nice.

Pete Luxon - I have read this entire thread and many other threads with you defending your product and let me just say, if I ever bite the bullet I will be paying APS a visit. I have seen and ridden in cars with your products and value for money wise it is brilliant what you have done for the XR6T and its followers. Congratulations mate, I like the way you don't take crap from anyone and are willing to put your money where your mouth is regarding your products. I personally don't own any APS gear but from reading about different products as well as APS's range in the past year I would always go the APS way. No idea why but that's the way it is. Finally someone has given us what FPV don't want to - something to rival (and blow away) HSV's range.
