  1. Yeah if he is up for it I second it.
  2. Great fun hey. I tried to do a Bruce simulation but failed.. Need more rwkw! At least the afro kid at the track got a thrill out of it. Bloody hell, I am also a bit sore, it was great fun and great racing. Some good close racing there Terry, sometimes it got really close between me, my mate, and the old man! Three wide down the front straight with my brother and my dad is something I will remember. They were side by side and I saw a small gap and went for it and got em. Could have got very ugly! Must do that again sometime! Oh and without Bruce! Or just put 25kg of ballast in the back of his cart! Your too quick for us mate! Cheers!
  3. Sounds good to me. Me and my brother will definately be going, dunno about my SS mate.
  4. See you at 1 'o clock
  5. I am not sure mate, I have never personally used one. My mate in his SS reckons he is interested in a cruise and go karting. So mark down another car and driver I suppose. Off topic I took an 2001 200SX for a test drive up the freeway, up Eagle on the Hill, Greenhill road, up to Mount Lofty and back down again. Totally different to the T! I can now see how much weight is a penalty on handling now. This bloody thing just sat on the road as if it was a scalextric car. Plus the motor went pretty hard for a 2ltr turbo. Oh and no driveline shunt, light clutch and a nice gearbox as well.. Ford should look at this driveline very closely.. Lets just say before you mouth off about Jap cars take one for a proper drive. It shut me up! :(
  6. It's unfair to group Lightning Strike with HgAg undercoat! Ah well..
  7. Good racing to watch I have to say. Very enjoyable as it is so close and with cars you can actually relate to, not like the V8SC.
  8. I will be there on the 21st for sure.
  9. Hey mate long time no see. Wait for the 6 speed auto!
  10. 21st is fine with me. Just let us know the details Tez.

    That was bloody fantastic! BAHAHAHAHA!
  13. Probably a second hand black V8 BA Ghia on XR 18's. Jeez they look good. I couldn't really afford an XR8 or anything like that.
  14. Hi mate and welcome. I think only cruise moderators can post new topics in the cruise/events section. Any more pics of your car?
  15. I wouldn't mind the 14th or 15th as the weekend after that I will be doing overtime at work.
  16. The thing here is you should not hate the car, you should hate the dealer. I got messed around with my car when it went in for waranty work to the trans. The said they fixed the issue and as soon as I drove out the yard it was back again! I was without the car for 4 days after that and made many trips backward and forward to the dealer.. I didn't hate the car, as it is freakin awesome to belt around in the hills and 1/4 mile, its the dealer who should cop the grief. I also kinda agree with rednut, try not to worry about other problems that don't drastically affect the car, remember you get what you pay for. Aussie cars are cheap and affordable for the performance you get - what do you expect? Audi build quality?
  17. I get the feeling some people may be fearing the worst. The placebo affect I think it is. Mine had the flash done to it and it still flys, not sure about others..
  18. Love it. I want to buy a townhouse or unit in a year or two so I am selling it at the moment, but I will have another, I just know I will. Had a drive in the hills today, days like this make you glad you have one. Awesome cars.
  19. Count me in Terry. Off topic - A friend and I were driving on Gorge road today and came around one corner literally just as an accident had finished. It was an F250 of all things that had clipped the inside of the rock wall and rolled over. Driver ok, but he will be done for DUI.. The drivers side of the roof copped most of the damage plus the drivers side of the car. I didn't take a pic of that though as the driver was standing next to it most of the time! You think about it, if we would have been about 5 seconds earlier we would have had that heading right for us! He was heading down while we were heading up. I would say its a write off, only 7000kms on the odometer..
  20. Seriously! Whos up for a cruise, if no one can be bothered organising one I will do it! Need to go for a drive again!
  21. Nuff said. Mercury Silver will always be the pretender to the throne of the silvers.
  22. Off to A.I.R for you .... times will tell <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yup. 2 weeks time is the next one - we will see
  23. Got my car back from its 15k service and solenoid replacement - so far so good and I haven't noticed a lack of power since the reflash. Seems to still go strong.
  24. Sorry to hear it mate, I saw it being towed towards the end of the night :( Best of luck with the new diff!
