Got a few cop mates. They've been instructed to come down hard on anything they can - road toll issues. Cruise but stick to the limit...

Centre Muffler Removal: Sound, Legality & Results
Just did this for a bit of fun. Has got to be without a doubt the sh*tTEST mod I've ever done to a car. It's auto and 1000-2300rpm is horrendous.

Full Bush Kit A Waste?
I'll tell you how much it's worth when I do it Dillz. May as well have a crack at making the car fun driving even without hitting boost...the cars got everything else covered.

Premium 100 Fuel
Common sense tells you if your car is tuned don't go switching to a different mixture of fuel without making changes. This isnt the E-flex VE forums lol

Full Bush Kit A Waste?
My 2nd set of oem rear diff bushes are flogged so going to go for the SP but thought about doing the blade bushes also while under there..no point stuffing around. Would fitting a whole rear bush kit be a waste? Same goes for the front full bush kit when eventually done. Will the control blade bushes reduce traction or increase it? Rear bush kit consists of - Upper Control Arm Inner and Outer Bushes Lower Front Control Arm Inner and Outer Bushes Lower Rear Control Arm Inner and Outer Bushes Control Blade Bush Kit Front Outer Diff Mount Bushes Rear Centre Diff Mount Bush Sway Bar D Mount Bushes Sway Bar Link Bushes Front kit consists of - Upper Control Arm Bushes Lower Control Arm Bushes Lower Shock Mount Bushes Caster Rod Bushes

Where To Put Boost Gauge In A Fg And Fg Mk2
Mounted mine on steering column just a bit to the left so it sorta sits in the middle of the tacho view. Bit of double sided velcro = done.

Spraying Intercooler
Bad. Go semi gloss. Flat/satin black makes it look more obvious in the light imo. Won't make a difference at all I looked into it a while ago

Mine started to die recently too, it started to shift out of its shell and choke a bit. Put an Outlaw in yesterday, not as droney and stinks a bit less

Octane Tester
Yeah I always fill up a tank at the same servo might have to change. Is Mobil aka 7/11 still using the Mobil fuels? I've got one around the corner might give that or vortex a crack as the other close BP to me is one of those small dodgy ones.

Octane Tester
Can anyone help me out point me to where I can get an octane tester for unleaded fuel? My cars pinged twice on the dyno 6 months apart with BP 98 from the same place I want to start ruling things out

Quietest System?
Long story short my stock exhaust is farked. Combination of possible blocked cat damage and rust increasing back pressure (after cat changed to a new one) If I'm going to go to the trouble of changing it I'd rather get a higher flowing one say 350rwkw. I'm not doing it for noise or a 'great note' because I believe such a thing doesn't exist for this motor. I'd consider a custom job if someone can nominate some good straight through mufflers

22.. Nitto's are by far the best tyre I've ever had, really can't praise them enough. Using 245/40/19's and theyre whisper quiet. My pzeros at the front are making a bit of noise and can't grip for sh*t on the back.
