G'day TRA1NR, only clicked to me this morning who it was I bumped into on the highway last night!! I am fairly regular on the Ford Forums and have a build thread there and I thought it may have been a member from that site that had seen a few pics of my car as I have had several compliments on the F6/GT rear bumper. It has been several weeks since I've logged in here and great to see so much progress in your build thread! I remember reading in November last year that you were keen JTG, awesome to see you went through with it and with some sweet figures to match. Gotta love the work Pitlane do, very neat install, exactly what I want for mine. Would you mind if I was to ask how much it set you back? You can PM me if you like, but totally understand if you choose not to mate. It must have been a few months back that I saw your car on the highway as it didn't have the LPG red tag, definitely has some road presence and now that you have had a little more done! Would be sweet to see the beast out again and have a cruise with you guys. My G6ET is going well, loving it. Goes pretty well for a stocky with an intake kit, but it probably does sound like it has had work done lol, the induction noise can be a little crazy =p. By the way, have you see the front end of the FGMKII G6ETs? Saw a black one on carsales a week or so ago and that it was pure class, very Aston Martin type grill. Would look great on our cars, had to save the pics for some future ideas! Anyway mate, will definitely be more active and keep an eye out on your thread, must sort out some time and have a cruise sometime soon, Cheers!- What Mods Have You Done, Or What Do You Think Needs Doing To Your G6Et
Nah man no probs with overboosting and going into limp mode after months of the kit being on. No worries bloke, will be keep an eye on your build thread for more progress. I have several other build threads opened and plan to get through them all, slowly but steadily!- What Mods Have You Done, Or What Do You Think Needs Doing To Your G6Et
Cheers TRA1NR, means alot coming from someone with such an awesome beast! I have only had it on the dyno while stock and made a healthy 238rwkw on Pitlane's dyno. Might be a little extra in it now with the turbo side intake and larger cooler piping. After Mark from Pitlane did the install, Mick had a little chat with me regarding the possibility of overboosting with the new setup causing the car to go into limp mode. It has been months following the installation now and all as been well. The rear bumper is definitely a winner, I was stoked to find one in the exact same colour! Guy was selling it for his old man who had it replaced under insurance after a few scratches that are barely noticeable. It would certainly look 100% on your ride also mate. I had the Earls filter supplied and fitted by Pitlane while I was booked in to get the intake and battery relocation fitted. I thought it was a worthwhile little safety mod to replace that standard oil line to the turbo. The ECU cover is a real carbon fibre one I picked up through eBay. There were a couple of options and thought the carbon fibre one would be a little bit different to what I usually come across. Yeh man would love to have a cruise with you guys, I am usually on the highway Friday nights if the weather is clear. Forecast looks good for tomorrow so hope you decide to take your G6ET out, would be sweet to see it in the metal. Love seeing the G6ETs on the road, love the FG XR6Ts also but something nice about seeing your own car model being driven if you know what I mean Little coincidence I noticed after reading your sig was that I am also wanting to get a JTG injection install from Pitlane sometime. The install Mick did on a FG F6 earlier this year was awesome, brilliant power and such a neat finish. Here is a short video from our new camera in 5.1 audio on what it sounds like now. Hope you enjoy the sound as much as I do!- 2008 G6Et

Mine are looking rather cloudy, gave it a few cut and polishes but no luck- What Mods Have You Done, Or What Do You Think Needs Doing To Your G6Et
Got my Plazmaman intake and battery relocation, along side a stage 2 intercooler piping kit by Mark at Pitlane a few months ago who did an awesome job. Also got an Earls braided oil line and filter supplied and fitted while I was there Few weeks back I picked up a GTE rear bar in the same colour so removed my stock bumper and tow bar and fitted it up nicely. Also replaced my tail lights with 50th ann lights. I wasn't overly fond of the chrome type ones New FPV 19s will be going on soon and then some suspension work- Best Intake For G6E Turbo?
