cant believe this is allowed to be posted here, get caught and expect lots of police attention I.e your vehicle will be red flagged and stopped every time u pass a cop car. Highway know when the lidar reads wrong and when signal is blocked because it gives warning almost immediately so expect to be stopped and your car searched to confirm it complies with standard. Lets not forget the ticket of vehicle not comply with standard - full inspection and emissions testing and the radar confiscated so say good bye to your $600, cause your gonna be a smart arse to the cop and lie - ow and for those of you who think I'll just hide it in the pannel so they wont find it be wary of a highway officer lidar-ing your stationary car and trying to explain the beeping coming from your door/pannel simple thing is dont speed and act like an idiot and police wont even notice you

for every mod you do your gonna need another tune so best bet is save your cash and hit it all at once! I make an easy 344 with injectors, intercooler, cat, fuel pump and tune on a BF MK2 xr6t so speak with a tuner and let them know what you want and they will help you out I'm sure the vic boys on here will let you know which vic tuners are good.

I ended up spending about $6000 = 344rwkw all depends on the turner, some will say "yeah it will make 300" but for how long. As I found out choose a tuner who wants to make sure your happy and they are happy with the car. I took mine to tunehouse and after doing the work Jim insisted on putting in the fuel pump otherwise there is would of been a good chance the engine would go bang! ok cost me a little extra then what I wanted to pay but its now one hell of a car!

you cant just simply use your company letter head to get around this law, if the police have any doubts they will still issue the ticket and say that it's up to you to prove it to a court. I dont know how you would get around this after 6pm. Just suck it up and wait till you get some driving experience, to many young people get fast cheap cars and flog em and wind up around a tree. Ow and for NSW its by memory the fine is $477 and 7 points!

Cant open your bonet = ticket! also will cause alot of suspicion on your car, seening as such a new/nice car cannot open the bonnet - whats under the bonnet that they are hiding

Vehicles taken home by police are for on call police usually, most highway and operation vehicle are left at the station when off duty. why do you guys worry over police so much, why do you guys talk about whats being driven so much. I know the arguements about where police "HIDE" however you never thought of what police let slip by e.g. ticketing only when speeds are over 20km. Althrough I will be first to say some just never give warnings to anyone. Ow and just in case NO POLICE GET ANY COMMISION FROM GIVING TICKETS
