  1. that's really good, I was thinking it was going to be more like 500, so I am pretty happy that you can get them for that price. What about your XR rims, were they your original ones? I had FPV 18's when I bought it so I will have to try and get some steelies or something...
  2. I think in the next couple of weeks I will have mine running a 1/4 out at WSID, should be good though just watching a few runs last night really got me keen, but I have to find the funds to buy a helmet
  3. that's a good time for the power, I would be really happy with that, I am just biding my time at the moment but I will be out there as soon as I can get a helmet and some smaller rims for potentially more traction. I haven't seen that silver one before but it sounded great, I don't know how much has put into it, but I know that I have had over 10k put into mine...
  4. So that's your first ever 1/4 mile... that's awesome, how was the rush first time down the run? Is yours manual or auto? I am keen to give it a go, but I need to at least drop down to 17's at the rear, the 19's will just mean crap time. Did you chat to the guy in the silver boosted falcon there, that looked like a machine...
  5. On the way to WSID this afternoon, saw a Blueprint Turbo looked stock on Sunnyholt Rd about 1730, don't remember the plates, and a black Turbo at Kings Langley shops XR63NV about the same time... Any takers? Loved seeing MRDOSE down at WSID, there was also a nice stock looking BF F6 and a silver Turbo, looked like an F6 with a GT rear wing, looked and sounded great
  6. Hey mate, saw your runs this evening, and then the heavens opened ... I couldn't believe it, such a nice day then it f:censored:n rained, you will have to let me know next time you are down there I think I will go when I get a chance. I will drop in and say g'day too, I was about to when it started raining... The car looks great though
  7. I think that I will get there at about 5-515... I think that the missus will be there too. I am pump though I've never been to the drags so should be good, I figure I'll watch a few weeks before putting mine out there... I'm looking forward to seeing your car out there
  8. Thanks for the vote of confidence, I will be happy to run an 11s pass at any stage, particularly with street tyres, I guess I should get something I don't mind doing a bit of damage to first, just to practice. But it looks like a lovely sunny day, so it looks like the drags will be on... My first time so it should be a great time
  9. that's pretty hectic, 3 sec difference, that makes me a little scared to take mine down for a run... I don't want to run a sh*t time, considering I am hoping to run a 10s pass. I guess I will need to invest in some slicks... Or sh*t tyres I don't mine destroying

  17. How much does running street tyres hinder your time versus using slicks or even something like a 17" rim?
  18. Very Nice I will have a look though, hopefully the forecast rain stays away. I will keep an eye out for you, good luck...
  19. MRDOSE I have never been down there before, and with the mods done to the car I would love to see what it would run... However only street tyres and no helmet limits that a bit. I might come down and have a look though. XR6TC
  20. Thanks for the info on that, I guess that keeping the ZF would be great, saving plenty of money... I will have a talk to Jim and see what the thoughts are there. Thanks
  21. Hey Guys, I have a pretty simple question that could provide plenty of answers. If you read my signature I currently have 380rwkw, and am running the ZF 6 Speed. I think that it will handle the power but of course want to upgrade, I was looking at the C4 with a shift kit and a stall converter, but it is worth it? If so are there any other gearboxes that are worth looking at? Can I just get the ZF rebuilt to handle the power better? Cheers
  22. Hey Guys, I finally found this thread... I am in Kings Langley, just for the time being... Deja Vu(Dark Green) BF Turbo, read the signature for the mods, reg: BAI37F. Always spotting turbo's around, and love seeing them. Cheers Carl
  23. Hey Guys, I know this is just another topic relating to gauges, because we all love them. I have tripod gauge pod from the guys at Pole Position, it looks great and the quality seems fantastic, however I am looking at gauges. I have a Drift Iridium Series Voltmeter, one of the digital jobbies, it looks pretty good, however I want a boost and either oil pressure or air fuel ratio, but am not sure which one is the more practical. Does anyone have any pointers? I know that Cobalt gauges are good, done by Autometer, but don't want to fork out the cash they want at egauges... And does anyone know anyone in Sydney who installs them for cheap? Cheers
  24. Rhino you have a good point...
  25. I have a Deja Vu XR6 Turbo, I have to standard scrapes under the sides at the front, driveways etc. I wanted to know what the cost to have these resprayed or painted? And if anyone knows anywhere good in Sydney that does it? Cheers
