  1. the only thing BS is the amount of rubbish spouted in this thread by people who have no idea... you really think you have 450rwkw at the treads with 80lb injectors?? bring it down for a power run and we will see.. I have all the testing results to back up my findings and 50 odd XR6t's running around sydney on eflex.. ill post some dyno sheets with 460rwkw, id1000 injectors and 100% injector duty cycle.. unlike most people I actually have the equipment to log things like injector duty on the dyno.. its like people saying they are getting 430rwkw out of coyotes with the stock injectors like f*ck they are.. they are maxed at 380 auto and just on 400 manual.. you can believe what you want but I have the hard proof to back my statements and have had ZERO failures of engines on eflex..
  2. not on a real dyno they wont... anything over 350rwkw require 1000cc injectors and they max at 460rwkw, above that 1600cc injectors are required. nothing at all wrong with eflex.. I have cars that have done 3 years use and still going perfectly..
  3. ive had the BA BF ones to 390rwkw.. but the process west cooler kit is much nicer, the piping on the BA BF is pretty crude.. the FG really steped it up in regards to the quality coming out of there.. you need to cut a bit of the bar support, its not a huge job to do it but they are definatly not a bolt in fit..
  4. we have a HDI GT2 on our FG, 490rwkw and still working fine...
  5. We have a atomic motor with stage 3 cams in our workshop hack, you cant even tell it has cams in it most of the time, drives perfectly, idles perfectly, should have rally gone for stage 4
  6. I should have the GS that I did the box in today on the dyno tomorrow, will see if it makes any more power!
  7. from my under standing is tuners that have not attended the course will have ZERO access to any ZF transmission tables
  8. For the Sydney people, Spiro at autotech Jim at CRD Ali at BTA Myself at CHP I'm sure the Herrod boys will put a full list up soon for the rest Of the states and Sunday's training
  9. that's not quite true, if the tune shop does not to the training they dont get access to the ZF tuning at all. The way Herrod has gone about this is perfect, yesterday we all got a full run down on what every table in the software does, and what happens when chaned and what will cause the gearbox to grab 2 gears at once and what will cause the box to die.. With out attending the traning course the ony way the tuner will know what works is to try it and could damage the box easily.. Im very glad we spent the money and attended, not only to learn about the boxes but to have a good day with a good bunch of people! Dale
  10. there is nothing wrong with the HDI coolers, they work very well and are great bang for buck.. we have made over 420rwkw no problems at all using them, even there BA/BF kit works great for the $$
  11. I didnt do the conversion just tuned it,

    Sideshowsperformancewiring.com.au did the wiring harness

    Dale

  12. ive tune a EB with a BA XR6T motor and factory ecu setup in it, the wiring was done by Sideshows Performance wiring and everything worked perfectly, even the factory boost control. Dale
  13. im out of ideas... I would go see the guy you got it off and get him to put the F6 tune back in
  14. I would try sucking it out again and see if it reports the correct model
  15. I would get ford to flash the f6 tune back into it and then download again.. if you connect to the car with the scanner what model does it say the car is? the tune says it is a lincon LT not a Falcon...
  16. what version are you using?? 2.23.3411 is the latest. are you using a BOG STOCK file or one that has been modded with SCT? the non reporting VIN is not a issue with your car it is a issue with all BA's I would just say that the software on your PCM hasnt been added yet, I had one that was the same last week but 2.23.3411 fixed it
  17. All BA's will require you to enter your vin when you try and read the tune.. just put your vin number in when it prompts you and you will be fine
  18. the tuner has to purchase them, not the end user, if you choose to go to another tuner then you will more than likley be paying for a full tune again.
  19. yep, around $800 for a full custom tune first time, touch ups after mods will be POA but generally will be very minimal just to cover dyno time..
  20. for sure. we pride our selves with our customer service and quality work.. with both holdens and fords.. anyway have a few XR8's coming in this week and a FPV GT when I get back from holidays in a few weeks, will post the results from these when I get a chance.
  21. fair call. I think Erko hit the point when he said "AND spends the time on YOUR car"
  22. its been avaliable for over 12 months now from memory, anyway this isnt a LS1 tuning thread
  23. vcm have live tuning on LS1 PCM with NO EXTRA hardware... and it works a treat... im sure they are more concerned at the moment with getting FG support and the rest of the BA/BF calabrations sorted and then going public, then Dodge support before looking at ford live tuning...
  24. no not live tuning.. on a BF flash time is under 3min so its pretty quick.. BA is a little slower at the moment but will be fixed shortly
  25. ive never used SCT so I cant comment on what it can do... but you will not be able to open a VCM tune in SCT.
