  1. Have not yet but will have a look today It's the STD process west stage 3 joiner so I'm guessing they have that type of contraction right through the system none of the piping butts together and some joints are about 20mm apart
  2. Is that a 4 speed? Zf's are supposed to be good to 350
  3. Gday guys My Farkin turbo was falling off the manifold again, anout the 3rd time in 15000ks. Last time I had brad from atomic put anchorlox on it and the studs still came out dont know if anyone else has a better soloution for this? I didnt want to spend another grand getting this sh!t on that only lasts 5000k's so I did it my self after I put the new gasket in and bolted ot all back up I noticed this noise when I hit the throttle, I took a video of it and hoping someone can tell me what it is Cheers
  4. BSA Wheels Peakhurst $25 each
  5. ford design the car and suspension for the street and to go 100,000k's that is the best setup for street tyres and road speed limits. I personaly think bilstines is one of the best mods you can do to the utes
  6. They won't tell you all the secrets... I have heard in the brutes they push the engine back about a inch to transfer some weight back
  7. they tyre that popped was on a 18x8 also
  8. Mate it only scrubs with the 20" rims on the circuit rims are 18x8 and dont scrub I would not drive the car while it was scrubbing, dont know if you have this image in your head of me doing thousands of k's scrubbing on every corner but that is not the case. I traveled from my factory 6ks straight to the shop that sold the wheel spacers and put them straight on
  9. +35 is what ozzy tyres is telling me I guess it's more now that I have put 8mm spacers in Cheers Matt
  10. To be honest the first time I went to the track in my ute was after the setup, every other time I had been was in my old mans bf xr8 and he has not done the bars yet I am currently running Michelan slicks, think ill go back to bridgestone RE55s on the next set I have bilstines all round when I put the 6 pot brembos there were dramas getting wheels that clear, I ended up getting 20" rims so I could get a style I liked, every corner I took after fitting the brembos and dba 5000's had the inside of the 8.5" rim scrubbing on the upper arm and on heavy corners it was like death on the ears. on the old mans ute he popped a front right Bridgestone RE 55s at oran park a few weeks before it closed, seeing I am running a similar setup on the front I am going to leave the spacers in and hoping it helps the understeer I think I am running -2.5 all the time, not really fussed on tyre wear. I will see if I can get some more with spacers in as I would like to try -3.5 with the slicks the traction is unreal and with bilstines it keeps the 420rwkw nicely planted
  11. I Have a BF XR6t Ute with 850's in the front and a few extra leaves in the rear, all the bushes were redone and 27mm bar on the front and bar in the rear HWY Driving is awesome with inital bite and lane changing but on the track I still have massive understeer, I have to try and work out the swaybar I think I will back it right off on the next visit I also bought 8mm wheel spacers to my tyres wont scrub on heavy corners and keen to see how it will go on the track Let me know what you end up doing
  12. Photos? How big are the cracks
  13. NEED MORE POWER!!!!

  14. @ISL33P - Did you do a dyno run before and after to see what the performance diffences were, Also what would the difference be if you increased the size of the plenum chamber? what size intercooler did you use with it?
  15. Yea like that... I had a look at the nitro option as suggested and wonder if much research has been done in to the intake flute lengths, Sounds like I'm better off with stock for circuit racing
  16. Did you do a compression test?
  17. Has anyone made a plenum that incorporates the inlet manifold or made a new inlet manifold. Is it worth doing?
  18. 1200-1300 for a stainless exhaust isn't too bad I thought. Fitted urself of course With exhaust you should be seeing 330
  19. Who tuned it and where do you live?
  20. What a boofhead
  21. Mine had had this issue a few times it was my flex plate 3 times New plate and arp bolts fixed it Let us know when you work out what it was
  22. Here is a PDF on VSI 15 Here It all seems fair, don't know why nrma would want this seeing on the rat site it seems ok without a engineer, unless the springs are the issue
  23. That's a bit of coin for a few ticks... Hope that's only when it passes
  24. NRMA seems to be having a bit of a wank, just take it to where ever NRMA suggests, Im guessing that "Being inspected by the RTA" means someone that can complete a blue slip, YThats where I would start there is a guy in my factory complex in revesby that does that and never over charges, im pretty sure there would be about 10 places in kirrawee that would do it also, Even in menai
  25. you should tell the insurance company about every mod even stereo or tune if there was a large claim and they didn’t want to pay out the whole not telling them about the mod is a good way to get out and are you going to spend 50k on a solicitor to sue them when this problem arises? Probably not
