Just a little update on the ute. Have been pretty slack with it last year or so. Engine has a few more goodies and is ready to go back together. Looking like changing from plazmaman to a hypertune plenum. Getting the bug back and can't wait to have it back on the road.

Ok, so the wife and I are looking at a new (ish) car. Have pretty much narrowed it down to an fg f6 or maybe a 335 gt. Wife does not like the bonnet bulge or the styling of the gt so it is pretty much ruled out. We test drove a 2012 auto clubsport yesterday and it was to be honest a really nice car. Local ford dealer has 2010 fg f6 in and we drove that to. Wife did not think f6 was as smooth or as nice as the clubsport. Thing is we are trying to compare a 2 year old car to something 3 days old. Is there any difference between the drive of an fg f6 from when they came out to the latest one. Is it worth buying brand new over a runout model or a low kms example. Is there really that much difference in the ride of a brand new f6 compared to a clubsport. Car we are looking at has 16k on the clock and they are asking 57k which I think is a bit steep. I was thinking 52k would be a good price. Has leather, no sat nav, no big brakes or tow pack car is auto. And in pretty good nick. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Im in my new house now. Bulk dirt bike tracks 100m from my drive. I pretty much park the truck put riding gear on and head out. Instant speed fix. I did look at my ute the other day though.

Got to give you bulk points for determination. When I get back from work I don't even feel like looking at mine at the moment. Lol engine builder and wife are on to me to pull my finger out so I might ave to do something soon.

Well that cleared a few things up. Glad I'm not the only one with that opinion about the labour government and the unions.

I don't think avoiding them is going to help them any. If everyone does that they are really screwed.

Been out west all week miss all the current affairs. What is the go with qantas. Are they finished? Opinions?

I was planning on running this month however I did a head gasket on the weekend. Might be time for some upgrades I think.

Yeah e85 is the route we are planning. Yeah made a little more on roo. Nothing to write home about.

Was running 25 to get that, had octane booster in too. We tried roo16 the other week but could not get any more fuel in and didn't make anymore power, fuel pump could not get any more fuel in. That said ute will be off the road for a little while as of yesterday arv. Blew a head gasket going to get milk. Was just "driving along" when it happened. Engine was going to come out in a few months for a freshen up anyway. Due to a recent injury on my dirt bike I think the ute will take priority for now. It has been some what neglected in the the last few months.

I run a holly blue to the surge tank and a magna fuel 525. Process west fuel rail. Still run the standard sender in the tank I just modified the pickup. Exhaust is x force 4 inch I think. Injectors are now 100 pounders.

I was super keen for an auto after a ride in led ft the other month but the temptation to see how fast I can get it with a manual is big. See what happens in the next few weeks il keep you guys posted.

I ran my ute at benaraby last year. Low 14s at 120 mph. Using old maxis tires (cheapest I could get) led ft ran 10.5 last weekend with less power than me on et streets. Cars were dynoed same day same dyno a few months ago and mine showed another 50rwhp. His was thru a glide mine manual. When I did run last year had a lot of trouble with traction. Pretty keen to slap some stickier tyres on and have another go sometime soon.
