I think im going to go a wog cooler, I only plan on doing tune and maybe exhaust, so I dont really need a full cooler kit but DOES ANYONE KNOW WERE I CAN GO GET BLOCK OFFS FOR THE FACTORY XOVER, NOT THE BOV BLOCK OFS BUT BLOCK OFF FOR THE INDUCTION PIPES thanks :D

3" 90 degree bend of the mouth of the turbo, also block of the BOV not enough xr6's dose now days

is any upgrade to the stock cooler illegal and defectable?

ah yeah, whats the advantage in upgrading a cooler? what power is the stock cooler restricted to? I know its kinda pointless just doign the piping but I wana get rid of the x-over.

Hey guys, I need to replace the intercooler bracket, and im thinking I may aswell upgrade... now I dont plan on doing much work to my T, only tune and injectors at most, now should I upgrade cooler or will it not need it, ive already got a bend and pod running of the turbo and thinking if I do another induction mod it will be illegal the stock x-over is pretty anoying considering half of it is not being used, would it be alright to remove it and get custom piping made up to fit my stock cooler? thanks

ive already done it with a 2.5" pipe coming of the turbo, ive removed the bov, and blocked the 2 holes off aswell as the small pipe with a scrw, however the x-over is still open on 1 side do I need to block it off?

that makes sense obviously I dont have the kit installed another question: the amp wich is located in the boot of the BA with premium sound, is it a monoblock? if so what power rating and how many ohm stable is it.

regarding running a 90 degree bend off the turbo, is it alright to leave the factory csoss over there, even though there wont be any pipe going into it? also will it act as if theres no bov connected?

anyone know where the aux input is in the BA? my manual sais it has one but cant find it!

did a search but couldnd find much on this so... apart from the theory of destorying turbo's quicker is there anything else that removing the BOV can cauz damage to I have noticed that the auto seems to be shifting abit harder? and often smell petrol so running more rich?

yeah same here well I got it fixed and it was the actuator... however very rarely it may still do it again, happened to me once after I got it fixed

a while a go I decided to remove the air box and replace with a k&n pod filter, mainly cauz it sounds so much better now my concern is do these cauz any problems I heard they can throw the fuel/air ration out?

well ford said it was the actuator, but fords..... ford LOL wanted to see if you guys had the same problem, last service was at 100 000 k's but I dont think I had replaced the fuel filter? ferret did yours struggle to idle after hitting that flatspot?

its 03 model, its all stock except for a pod filter I bought the car at 84 000 k's and its got about 107 000 on it now I havnt changed valve springs

notice that when boosting past the 5000 rpm mark there seems to be a flatspot as iff its cutting out fuel, when you hit the flatspot after when u stop it struggles to idle and ocasionally stalls, I took it to ford and they believ the actuator(?) is stuffed ths overboosting itself and cutting off is this a general problem as ive never heard of it before, also were can u get actuators from as ford dont do them thnks guys
