Mattson, What did you think of the performance of the T compared to your Rex. I have never drivin a WRX so would not know what they go like. I know they would handle a hell of a lot better with 4 wheel drive and weigh half as much as the T, but im talking seat of your pants stuff. Cheers, Greg

There are some rubber bush things that can be greased up aswell. Sorry about the poor explaination, I will try to find exactly what it was and let you know. But mine was the same problem as now is all good.

Your steering rack needs tightening. This has been covered many times. Perform a quick search and you'll find some answers champ.

Is anyone able to shed some light on why the gauges aren't fitted with a pin stop so as the needle will sit where it looks like it should (ie The 0 PSI point on the 15 PSI gauge)????

I've read in the forum somewhere that Hopper Stoppers in Melb were really cheap. $320 for the front delivered from memory. Give them a try.

You may not have pushed the small black hose far enough intop the connector on the back of the gauge or on the T-piece. Also make sure your hose clamps are tightened. I have no noise in mine at all. But yes mine does sit just behind the 15 mark aswell. Also maybe grab both ends (one hand near the gauge and the other down where it comes out under the dash) and see if the cable moves freely. Maybe it is snagges on something and pinching the hose. Did you also cut the dash the 20mm as suggested. That seems the most logical place you are having the problem when seating it back into position as you say it is working when you hold it up. Just a few suggestions, hope you get it working correctly soon. Greg :-)

YCL - Got the gauge on Friday (Didn't think we would get them until this week so it was a good supprise) and installed it. Looks excellent. Thanks heaps for the organising of getting these things ordered and sent out to us. Just a quick question for the guys that got the 15 PSI gauge. When you turn the car on the needle sits on 15PSI until you give it a boot full then it shoots up to 0 and goes on from there. (My thoughts were it would site on 0 like when the car is switched off) Maybe a pin whould be just below 0 to stop the needle going further down. Still love it though :-)

Do a search, you'll find it is probably your steering rack needs tightening. I had the same thing, It got worse and was noticable only when moving slowly eg. parking or reversing. Take it back to the dealer and it is only a half day job :-)

Thanks guys, I was waiting for it. I have read the manual. They way I understood it is that when you put it over into performance mode you were actually manually shifting the gears not just putting the stick over there and leaving it. But thanks for the sarcasm anyhow :-)

Yes. Well I have had the ute since October last year and I did not know that....LOL.

So for performance mode you put it over to sequential but DON't change the gears???? Is this right????

Has anyone got a picture of the 15 PSI gauge???? I thought it would look like the 10 PSI gauge, but by what you guys are saying it looks a bit odd :-(

The smaller XR letters light up at night when you have your lights on. If you look carefully though you should see the larger XR logo is also there. This does not light up though. Well that's what mine looks like anyhow. July 03 build.
