Same thing here. Got the folder with all the guff and a an FPV Showroom DVD and no keyring. Rang and they said hold on, new one being done and will be out in the post. I just want one :-) (keyring that is)

I'm booked for the 24th Aug in Brisbane to test out my GT. Can't wait...

I think for just w@nk factor alone, I think it's a great thing. When people hop in it's just another way to set your car apart from the rest. A throw back to the old days of true sports cars. Even the M3 and M5 drivers don't have one (flame retardand suit active) And thanks YCL for the answer...

On the topic of starter button - What happens when you press the starter button when the engine is on and you are in motion?

I went in for a 30k service (had the flash) and noticed that the performance was less than normal. I will say that it has been smoother across the board but at the cost of performance. I don't know what's better...

Count me in for the stalling. I can be driving along happily and then the steering goes hard. Stalled again!! What a pain..

I thought it was worth rembering some of the cool bits to pass onto all. We can tend to forget or never know about some of the cool things on this car. Please add to this list as this is just a start 1. If you hold down the volume knob on the premium sound system for 3 seconds or so and wait for a beep, the screen will then turn off. It will come on if you make a change and then turn off again. To turn this feature off, repeat. 2. With Premium sound when playing a CD, hold down the seek on the steering wheel to change the CD (thanks to DallasQLD for that one) 3. To get a single wipe of the windscreen wipers push up 4. If you have premium sound, get 2 light bulbs and have footwell lights. :idea:

Same problem and same result. Get the Fairmont switch as a replacement. It was worth the problem to get the replacement..

Love my Turbo, but there is nothing quite as nice as an 8 and ohh the bonnet. But for $6k.. And the weight difference.. And the turbo rush...Happy with the Turbo..It just gets better with time. But an 8 ohh how I miss that sound ...

Imagine the smell in the car (burnt rubber). It would take months to get rid of.... But what a hoot. Count me in as a passenger.

If it helps, I was in the same boat. Ford quotes a delivery time to the dealers from Melbourne to be within 8 days. Mine took 8 days but it did arrive.. Edge

For the last 2 posts- StaggerLee - The footwell lights work on the same circut as the door lights/access lights. So unlock the car get the footwell lights (as well as the others) and lock the car after 20 secs all the lights fade including the footwell. The install is as simple as plug in the bulbs... richdave - Under the left of the glove box easy to find. The drivers side a little more difficult. Recomend a torch. Here is what I did. Remove the fuse panel cover (and I know you know where that is). The cover uses a hinge which has 3 prongs to the left and then a one to the rights (if I remember). Between the second and third hinges on the white plastic up behind the fuses. Look for the brown plug. It is behind and up but it's there..I can post a pic if you need one.. edge
