$95 is just a standard Ford price for adjusting the hand brake. They tried it on me once with the T and my wife once with our fairmont and I cracked it and told them that if I am paying them $200 plus to service a car then what the hell are they doing if not tuning and adjusting? F#@*ing ridiculous. Had the handbrake adjusted to perfection for free on the next maintenance. Matt
  2. Would definitely consider buying one if it came in AWD. As a standard car the Magna is actually pretty good - very under rated. But the added weight may slow those times down a bit. Used examples of the current model don't sell for much so you would want to get it pretty cheap and maybe as a company tax right off. Matt

I'm with Robbo - only bought the PSone & PS2 for GT and will buy a PS3 for the same reason. Other than BR player and GT there really is no other reason to buy one. BTW - Anyone here playing WOW at the moment? Matt
  4. Bloody Hell!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully Lowndes will do what he is good at and put his head down and get some fast laps strung together. Even though I don't like seeing Expensive Daewoo win anything I am dissapointed for Mark Skaife - he just can't win a trick this year. Or last year. He is a bit of a poonce but an undeniably good, clean driver. But GO LOWNDSEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pull it together son and get back on top of the table. HomerJ
  5. Has anyone been watching the Live Streaming? I just checked the results and Lowndes was 3 last!!!!! WTF!!!!! Can anyone shed some light on this? Homerj

I have used Jefferson Ford for all my servicing on my T aswell as my EF Fairmont. Would highly recommend them - have recently had my sunroof looked at under warranty and they are the only ones who could fix it. Have a chat to Mike and tell him that Matt with the black T sent you. Matt

Unless you've got a standard T with an auto then say hello to 170rwkw. Damn being lazy!
  8. This might be te wrong place to ask but......is it possible for ford, with there own download/upload tool, to upload someone elses tune and dump it into another car? Matt
  9. Recent trip from Melbourne to Barossa Valley had us at 10.8l/100 which I was very happy with. This was even with all the windows down and sunroof open. Bloody thing overheated on the way across and the only way to keep the engine cool was to put the heating on full and fan on full (AC cuts out at half way anyway). Pain in the arse! Ended up being the bloody thermostat sticking! Usually get around the 12.8 mark though with bad start/stop traffic between Berwick and Camberwell and spirited driving from the same start place and bayswater. Homerj
  10. $1300 is a small amount to pay for an extra 3 years insurance. Definitely the way to go
  11. Have finally had my new twin exhaust fitted compliments of HPF and couldn't be happier. Sounds awesome and doesn't drone when cruising on the highway. Thanks to Dave (Goldbullet) for it - I can't wait for the day I can afford to install the edit to take full advantage of it. Had about a 11rwk addition to most of the rev range and a fairly consistent torque boost from 3000rpm to 5750rpm. I kept it very standard on the tips so that it wouldn't stand out so much and it still looks factory due to the great job done on the extra cutout done on the opposite side. At this stage it was Cat back but still made an impressive difference. Thanks to the guys at HPF for their help - they have extremely good OH&S rules when involving customers and techs (there is a definite no running policy onsite and they kept me well clear of the workshop and dyno). The minister of finance was able to hear it run up on the dyno and was very impressed - hopefully that makes it easier to pass more expenditure through the budget at a later stage . Thanks again to Goldbullet for the donation - it sounded awesome on the dyno - and I will post some pics shortly when the daylight comes. Matt
  12. Silhouette is the only way to go any - who cares

The funniest thread I have ever read on this forum would be this one http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...topic=11934&hl= The picture that -carty put up had me in stitches for ages - still cracks me up now. Not necessarily a quick fire retort but worth a mention. Matt
  14. Is there a time period that the extra can be purchased? Can you wait till the existing one is juuust about to run out and sign up on the extra? If it is about $1300 then $36 per month to have full warranty is a bargain. Only problem is no modding - aahh the dilemmas we must face.
  15. How much is it? I am in the same boat and looking to keep my T for at least another couple of years. Sounds like a good idea
