    Idesign

I fave seen the grey and I think it looks a bit drab but it's ok if you only want a understated interior! I would go the RED! I got it on the the standard seats and it looks fantastic. Was a bit worried but the guy I bought the car off said he sold the same to his sister and looked great so took his advice and am very happy! But in the end go with what you want as then only you can blame yourself if it doesn't like you wanted it too. Just go around and look at as many as possible in the flesh if you are worried.
  6. Very nice Macka! I think you just need to make up a trick side opening hard cover for the ute now, just to finish her off!
  7. By the way how does all this work if you already have a mobile phone kit connected to Aux inputs under the dash? Is that where all this is connected for the audio? Can they both be spliced into the same points?
  8. yeah, that would good!!! I would pay for the loom and that little circuit, that would be great!! Dave. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep sound great how much I think I will have one too mate! Even if you just made the wiring loom and we sourced our own STB! Mick
  9. The other day I saw in a car yard in the Spingwood area an S or SS Crapadore with GT stripes around the bottom! It just keeps getting worse for those Expensive Daewoo boys. They just need to come out of the closet like Elton John has!

    Track Day

Actually I have heard that we might be taking on the HSV boys out there one for some sort of inter club challenge. That would be a good day. Although I know a few boys from the HSV club and they are very serious when it comes to track sprints. Like they go the whole hog, special pads, fluid, and tyres. This could be a bit of a one sided affair but still fun all the same.
  11. Has anyone has a drive of any the FPV range with the new 6 speed box? Was just wondering what it was like now with the box and diff gears changed?

    Track Day

Well it cost us $40 for the mornings events. (I think this was a special deal with the XR Club), and then it was going to be $75 for the afternoon sprint session. These prices may only be special prices for the XR Club as they have some sort of affiliation going, but I am sure that the cruise organisers from here could probably get something sorted out with Gene. I think the pice is up around the $175 mark for half day track sessions. But don't quote me on any of these as I am sure numbers and a few other things probably come into play when price is negotiated.

    Track Day

Here are the time sheets if anyone is interested in a look. My brakes held up ok, but I did take it as easy on them as I could but after 2 laps they needed a rest and a cool down. So I will definatly be upgrading for the next one so I can give it a real go.

    Track Day

On Sunday just gone, I went out to a track day/motokana/drag day we had with another club I am in at Darlington Park Raceway. for those of you who don't know at Yatala in Queensland, not far from DJR or SBR headquarters. Anyway it was a 6's Vs 8's challenge, and it was an absolute great day. There was Three events so to speak with 20 cars in each team. First was a one lap sprint of a certain section of the track, (the other part was unavailable due to someone from movieworld using for some filming). We had two runs at this and it was great, giving us a total of about 4-5 laps including warmup and cooldown laps. Then we had a motokana on the skidpan, and this was so much fun I can't describe it. Tried it with both traction control on and off. And beleive it or not the traction control off run was quicker as you can control the wheel spin and slide through the corners and turns. And last was a 300m drag, which I ended up going against a 300+kw GTP. And yes he did beat me. But I had a little too many revs off the start and too much wheel spin, he got the jump by about 1.5 to 2 car lenghts and then I held him at that which I was quietly impressed with considering I am totally stock. Anyway the track is great and has lots of hills and sweeping bends. allmost like a cross between Bathurst and Lakeside tracks you might say. I would recomend it to anyone wanting a good day out at the track. At the end of the day teams tims were all averaged out and the 8's came out on top by 12/100th's of second, pretty close hey. There is also a gokart track there and if anyone was watching the indy coverage that is where the supercar boys went for a play. Not sure on pricing as it was all discounted through the club but if you contact Gene from Total Driver (not sure of the number) I am sure he can advise you of this and any other driver training packages you may want to expolore. Anyway that's it for now I will post some picks of me and a few others from the day, and also the time sheet if anyone is interested.

    RUMBLE

They look pretty trick Geea, but which way does the cover flip open it looks like it is backwards. And also does it make it difficult to use that lower storage area there. May have been a little better at the rear of the shifter, but then again maybee not? Oh what about in the cup holders, flip it open and there they are, I don't use my cup holders anyway. (no food or drink in car rule or kids just destroy it)
