Does a faster 0-100 time make the Clubsport a better car than a GT or Typhoon? A fairly narrow criterion from which to draw a conclusion.I'd like to see the Fords get to 100 kph faster than the Holdens but even though they don't I still think the Fords are an inherently better car in every aspect.

With all this grunt why so many ratios?5 speeds for a manual and 4 speeds for an auto sound like plenty to me.Not lacking torque in the modern engine design are we?Just a more complicated transmission that can be go wrong in more ways.A quest for fuel economy maybe?

Um.......got a late 03 manual with 240 rwkw (not big power but more than stock)that's done 20,000 km and apart from tired shockers and saw toothed tyres from being driven pretty bloody hard which produces a bit of tyre noise;we haven't had any backlash,gearbox or diff noise whatsoever!I feel sorry for the guys with problems but my point is that Ford can build them properly!Pity they're not all built like ours?
