  5. now driving a FPV GS Ute

  6. Mines a work ute, but still not sure what a graphic designer needs a ute for gets plenty of use on the week ends as a work horse though. Just moved in to our new house, so plenty to do. Plus it carts around the race car when the time calls
  7. Name: Simon Age: 30 Work: Graphic Pre Press Manager Car: 07/05 BAII XR6 Turbo Ute Location: Adelaide
  8. I have been told (by a Ford Dealer) that orders for the BF will cease end of Feb, and production of the Orion going into full swing in March (they are currently running a limited line of the Orion side by side with the BF, apparently), with May as the expected delivery date on the Orion. Can't wait to see the specs on the FPV range. Also the uncovered version of the utes, as mine is due in July, and I hope it looks better than the VE ute, which is growing on me.
  9. Anybody heard any more on this. I was told today that while the TollHSV team have been reinstated, that the HRT team have been given a 4 meeting ban effective as of the first round. This came from someone working on the engineering for the Adelaide event.
  10. that's a good thing, JB signing a deal to be the "Bourbon" supplier at the V8 races, beats drinking that "5 Cougers Thanks" sh*t! And lets hope that they have done a deal to save DJR as we would hate to see what would happen if they didn't make the track ........ another Expensive Daewoo team, I couldn't bear to watch! And as for which drink is best it would have to be JB, as they have a decent taste in cars atleast
  11. Here are some numbers on that swift Car - Swift GTi Engine - G13B Capacity -1370cc Compressor - GCG Nitrous - No Tyres - Toyo R888 ET - 11.549 60ft - 1.95 MPH - 130.09 Track - Wllbnk Driver - Dave Homer Workshop - DMW Motorsport I would think that the car would have been in its 11sec trim as Dave doesn't alter the car back from his drag set up much these days. I beleive that the car has also run a little quicker useing slicks. The above times are under the rules of the High Performance Imports Drag records (must use street legal tyres).
  12. what are the specs of the swift. Would be interested to know as I have one for a track car. That is in the process of a rebuild. I gather it was turbo. Who built the motor, wasn't a guy called Dave Homer by any chance?
