  1. +1 for a great improvement Mine had one (minus the badge) optioned from new by the previous owner. Love the feel and look. Sits really nicely in your hand and offers good grip where you need it.
  2. Oh HELL f*ckING YES! Prowler in the yard is a seriously badass album. Piss Angel ftfw! As for Carcass, you just know that's going to be one absolutely off tap live gig. *tries to imagine Incarnated Solvent Abuse LIVE*

Don't mean to dig up an old thread but I thought it was relevant. Went in to SuperCrap the other day to get a few things for the DIY BOV mod. While I was there, I asked the clown behind the counter if he could hook me up with a "K&N PANEL FILTER FOR A BA XR6T". He pissfarted around on the computer for a while, scratching his head. Then walked up and down the filter isle for another 5 minutes then said he could help me out with a POD filter (some no name brand) saying it was pretty much the same thing although he only ever runs K&N gear in his fully sick R32 Godzilla . Anyway, I'm about to walk out when he turns to me and says "mate, I'd just go down to Autobahn, I go there for all my bits and pieces. The stuff we have here is sh*t". No paraphrasing, that's exactly what he said. So I went to Autobahn and the helpful guy down there had me hooked up with a K&N filter for $78 and the little rubber stoppers that SuperCrap reckon they didn't have. All in less than 5 minutes and with a cheerful smile. FFS...
  4. There's probably copies available mate. Can't vouch for the quality of said copies though... Or just go the 19 inch Phoon "Dark Argent" copies!
  5. I know of at least 2 of the "Hi-Ace Moto-van" crew that run FMF or Pro Circuit 450 four stroke bike mufflers tacked onto their tailpipe... Seriously sad.
  6. Hey all, Took my T to the Auto guys as I've been noticing a shudder in the driveline at 80/100 when applying the throttle after coasting. Along with a full trans service, the guy said he's going to put in a tube of this Shudder Stop (pretty sure that was the name) additive stuff which he says he has had great success with. Anyone ever heard of/used such a product? He seems to know his sh*t and comes well recommended from a credible source so I'm thinking that he's not just trying to rip me for an extra $30 and isn't going to screw up my auto with this additive. I'm more interested to know it has cured anyone elses driveline shudder/clunk woes?
  7. I remember reading about someone else on here who had this problem. Pretty embarrassing but I bet it was a massive relief. sh*t like that happens to the best of us.
  8. Although I was one of the people who remarked at how stupid this was, I agree with you. Just about everyone does stuff similar to this on the roads. The key is picking the time and place. And a young guy with a decent head screwed onto his shoulders is perfectly capable of making the distinction between a bit of lighthearted hooning and reckless endangerment of human life. Sure it always has the potential to end in disaster but so does trundling to work in a Expensive Daewoo barina. You just have to be able to assess the risks and adjust your behavior accordingly. Young drivers in hot cars aren't what kills people. Dumb drivers kill people, regardless of their age and the vehicle they're driving.

The Lanos takes the cake. Wow. Just wow...
  10. I agree, I usually hate white cars but a T with dark tint and nice big wheels can look pretty damn hot imo.
  11. f*ck me.... All I can say is, they're lucky as hell. Anyone can crash a car. sh*t, I've done it a few times myself but streetracing on a major road, possibly in the wet... You really do have to ask yourself, is it anywhere near worth it? I know a guy who killed 4 people doing a similar thing. He escaped unharmed physically but will go to jail and has ruined his life and the life of countless others. That alone is enough for me to be extremely selective about when and where I give it a squirt. Dumb-luck ftw.
  12. Damn, that's bad. But a friend of mine has paid $14,000 (yes fourteen grand) in medical expense to date, on his 1.5 year old Chow. 2 full titanium hip reconstructions, some surgery to it's eye and another bone related surgery on the front leg... Craaaaazy. He doesn't even think it's that big of a deal but most people he tells go into convulsions of disbelief.
  13. Yeah, I noticed that. Is that a big deal? What's the difference? Are stepper motor ones just more accurate?
  14. http://www.crazysales.com.au/index.php?categoryID=102 Hey guys, I just found this site that seems to be selling Auto Guages at insanely cheap prices. They're not quite exactly the same as the Ozegauges ones but seem to have all the right features. Smoked face looks black when off. 52mm. Electrical. Are they knock offs or is there some other reason I'm missing as to why they're like $30 per guage...? Is it cos they're not "Stepper Motor Series"?? Or is this just a crazy bargain? Also, I know electrical gauges are the go but is it ok to use a mechanical one for boost?
  15. Not wrong there. sh*t dude she was putting on almost 2kg a WEEK for a while there. Absolutely destroying the bags of food we've been buying (expensive sh*t). My Mrs. is a vet nurse and she tells me that judging by the size of her paws and the rate at which she grew early on, you're spot on, she's gonna be a monster. I like that though, cos she'll look tough but she's actually a little wuss and extremely gentle with children and other dogs. Got a mean sounding bark when she hears things at night though which is a bonus living in Funkytown (Frankston) lol.
  16. Caught her doin' this the other night. Was pissed off cos there was bits of paper everywhere but I had to laugh and it reminded me of this thread. That's Macey the 7 month old Bull Arab x Wolf Hound x Stag Hound. She's a pigdog by breed but definitely not by nature. Too dopey and clumsy to hurt a fly. /minershelmet

The only thing that's turbo in that picture is the door sill in the foreground... Epic fail.

    Millers Chill. j/k j/k j/k
  20. As per the title, I'm just wondering if the genuine floor mats from a ba ute will fit the front of a ba sedan? I don't have that many people in the back seat and when I do, their feet better be clean! So I could get away with just the front 2 if they're the same cut. Cheers
  21. Ghosti replied to TaHa's topic in Wheels and Tyres
    I'll second that.
  22. We should be getting one for a couple of days at my work pretty soon. Can't wait
  23. I reckon it would look sweet as with no wing/badges... Love those little extra touches.
