  1. Hey man, I have a full 3.5 inch exhaust on my ute. When I was fitting it I noticed that it only had one sensor plug but my bf came with 2. My engine light comes on when it wants to aswell. I would say its just a sensor that's a bit touchy - cheers
  2. Hi man, you still get a build up of fuel in your plenum even though it is introduced later, espacially if its running rich. that's why drag cars hold it wide open just before they take off down the runway - to clear the inlet. But you could still get a gasket adhesive that is petrol repellant im sure-cheers.
  3. Yeah, its your exhaust creating too much boost. A flash tuner or a custom tune will set it sraight, no damage done though.
  4. Hi, I recently installed a full process west kit on my xr. I did not however, replace the gasket. As a result at high rpm and full acc only the plenum would leak air (almost sounded like a screamer pipe). Just so you know, the gasket is not re usable unless you use some sort of adhesive - which will probably be eaten away by the petrol anyway. Just do it correctly to start with - cheers !!
  5. Check ya pipes and air filter. It sounds like the clips are not secure on the air box.
  6. I brought a 3.5 inch x-force full system with twin dump pipe for 1500 from scotts rods exhausts yamanto qld. Great quality stainless.
  7. Rev is right, your bigger cat back alters boost pressure (higher) and with low octane fuel its pre-igniting.With those mods you must use 98 oct.It will also be more efficient.
  8. I have not seen the new falcon yet but if they are still using that crossover manifold they cant have changed that much - ? Its not like they are changing to a v6 twin t. Dont even know why they use that plenum on a non turbo, face the throttle body toward the front of the car - simple. Of course they are still great though. Someone told me that the new engines are very very strong - bigger tolerances.
  9. Yeah x-force offer a good exhaust, full 3.5 inch system, twin dump pipe with a 5 inch cat. Around 1500 bucks-mandrel bent, stainless steel and all. Dont get any smaller than that or you will have to upgrade which means buying it twice !!

  11. Hi man im mic, are all of your injector plugs going into the corresponding injectors? Did you mix them up? My bf started for about 5 mins after I put my 60s in and then stopped - black smoke every where - rich like a bastard!!

also how many rwkw can my bf turbo ute handle before something will break in the engine?
  13. Hi guys just wondering if 340 rwkw would require a new regulator or not. I have seen heaps of xr's with big mods runnin the standard reg. And is the standard reg a rising rate?
  14. hey man nice wheels I have the same ute but in toxic just wondering if you got your wheels from america if so what jap car has the same pattern as they are not familiar with aussie cars and do you think 10.5 rear and 9.5 fronts will fit?
