  1. Group buy?? How many do they need on a firm order to make a batch of wider rims?
  2. Good to see the problem sorted. I just want to know whether you had to use your professional skills to convince a Ford dealer to change the synchros in your modified car. Most of us would surely get the usual knockback under the same circumstances....
  3. Seems like he would have a ready made niche market eager for his product if he made the wider size. I know I'd want some..
  4. Will they be making wider units? Love the look of the original typhoon rims as well as the black 19's, but you cannot get decent sized rubber onto them. A copy in a wider rim would be perfect.
  5. You and your mate have been through an enormous shunt and lived to tell the tale. I bet you view life in a very new perspective now.
  6. I thought that the Xcal2 allows the user (not tuner) the ability to up/download tunes into it from a PC/laptop?
  7. Everything else stock will limit your outcome due to the capacity of the injectors. On standard squirters, you can have 12+PSI down low, but you will need to taper that off in the top end as you run out of injector duty cycle.
  8. Or maybe a sticky "which is the best method" thread.
  9. Actuator? Solenoid? Sticky wastegate?
  10. Sad news indeed Ian. I wish you both well. Just remember, anything that doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.
  11. What's the power like with the 10PSi tune in? If it's good, you're probably just hearing the turbo doing what its supposed to do. If not, then a boost leak may be the culprit.
  12. Put me down too Paul. I want to see Shane make more than 500RWHP @ 2200RPM.
  13. F6 is correct. But if you do not have the hardware to do this, you can start with some of the simple options like replacing the clip type tension clamps with normal screw-to-tighten type. Normally you will find these clamps at one end of the intercooler, and one at the turbo outlet.
  14. Save for clutch now. And flash in the 10PSI tune. At 245RWKW its not that much more to handle and whole bunch more fun. After the clutch, put away a few pennies for the cooler and injectors and re-tune. You'll be wanting those by next summer.
  15. Mentioned it to Craig the other day & he said he'd look into it. Wouldn't be a bad idea though.
  16. Mine should still be there then, so I may see you down there.
  17. German Pinscher, Looks a lot like a Dobermann but smaller size. Very energetic and intelligence.
  18. VERY scary stuff in the US. What's wrong with just sticking the barrel in your own head, rather than taking 30-40 innocents.....
  19. It's only money. You can't take it with you anyway so got it fixed. No good having all that mumbo without getting it to the wheels.
  20. Still a good idea to get the AFR's checked.
  21. Not a problem on the current standard cars as the level of boost is low anyway, and the overboost parameters are more relaxed on the current standard tunes. Your car already has a tune with more boost, so you'll need to be a little more careful about the install and it's effects.
  22. Based on my experience, a tune may be in order. My previous tune was made with a large dump pipe, cat and cetre muffler replacement. I had a 3.5" single Xforce fitted and it affected both boost and AFR's. Power was down a little as well.
  23. Good work.
  24. And having the fast changing ZF has also helped you keep in front. Out of the show room floor, the Phoon is the gun package around right now. Gotta love that.
  25. $10k for 280RWKW? These mods would have been done VERY early in the cars life, or the owner was ripped. Anything below @24k would be worth looking at.
