Marky add up the total purchase cost of your f6, say $61k, plus $6k in mods gives you 480rwhp for $67k. GS for $50k, plus $1.5k in mods, 490rwhp for $51.5k. So there is a saving on $15.5k and I have more hp, but if I spent the remaining on my car it would decimate the F6... FPV GS 315 is THE bang for your buck winner out of FPV :-)

You can get the gs for much cheaper than that, I got mine for 50k so saving 10k on an f6 and you're miles ahead :-) Love the f6 though, they're an incredible machine, but I've had a big hp turbo before so wanted to change

PRobably go for a 3.5" exhaust as well as the twin 2 1/2 can become a little restrictive

Nah marky - GT-P It has everything :-) Remember mine was almost 20 grand cheaper than your F6, if I spent the money I saved buying an F6 for the same price you paid for yours I'd mod mine with the difference and you'd never catch me :-) and I'll still take you on down the 1/4 mile!!! But mine will always sound better :-P

Sorry about the delay guys, been working my @ss off. You can get pacemaker headers and an xforce catback system for them, headers are rather pointless unless pushing well over 400rwkw, catback system should take the power up to around 385rwkw. The 5.0 SC Miami engines are fitted with a eaton 1900 blower with an 8psi pulley, they have a internal bypass system the the ecu uses to control the boost, the GS utes runs around 3psi, the gs run around 5psi and the Gt run around 6.5psi, so with the tune they allow the car to run the full 8psi, hence why there are greater power gains in the gs over the Gt with the same power levels attained. I picked mine up for 50k, had 4500kms on it and had been the dealer principles car. There are two demo Gs's with roughly the same kms going for 46k here in Brisbane. I was originally looking at an F6 but after having two boosted xr6t's (315rwkw and 430rwkw) I was after something different. The f6 is great for sheer speed, but the gs with the blown Miami just has the most magnificent sound and is just an exhilating ride. At this point I'll probably look at the handling and braking now to get the most out of the 370rwkw I now have. I'll post pics up tomorrow of it, and when I get my hands on a decent camera setup I'll get some videos :-)

Figured it's about time I posted up into the 300+ club. I have a FPV GS 315 sedan with the 5.0L S/C V8 and ZF, dead stock it made 396rwhp/ 295rwkw and managed a 12.81@109MPH the day after I picked it up. http://i1112.photobu...owsee/Dyno1.jpg About a month later I sourced a K&N Filter which raised the power up to 408rwhp/ 304rwkw, so spent roughly $125 cracking the 300rwkw mark. http://i1112.photobu...owsee/Dyno2.jpg Then about another month after that I bit the bullet and got the car tuned by Lee at RDP in Redcliffe, raised the boost up to 8psi and made a decent 492rwhp/ 367rwkw with a truckload more torque. http://i1112.photobu...owsee/Dyno3.jpg Car goes really hard now compared to standard, definately the best $1600 I've ever spent on a car. Only area that the GS is now falling behind with is the braking capacity, so will eventually be looking at putting bigger brakes onto the car. Dyno sheets are attached. Cheers Howsee

Well the ppl fixing my car reckon cause they now have to replace a radiator support and are waiting on the stripes sO now it won't be ready until next Friday, IMO they're just taking as much time with it as possible... There was no damage to anywhere near the radiator so I reckon they're taking me and AAMI for a ride... So I'm still without a car and not real f*cking happy... So I won't be making this one I'm afraid boys... Hope you have an awesome night

Pedestrian ran the lights on vulture st on Friday heading home, merc coupe in front slammed on his brakes and I just nudged his back left corner trying to go round him. Front bar and lh headlight are rooted and will probably need a new bonnet. Only cosmetic damage, but it's coming outta my excess cause the little sh*t that jumped out into traffic legged it. Not happy ATM :-@

I'm hoping to have my car back from the panel beaters by then, if not I may have to ride shotgun with someone...

Anyone keen for munchies at acacia ridge tonight? Have got a few boosted fords coming along, it's a huge meet of old school muscle cars through to modern performance machines. Starts at around 630-7pm and is probably the best meet left in brisbane. Howsee
