  5. Guys just let you'd know that the Ducati club are doing a cruise up Mt glorious tomorrow as well, they're starting off earlier than us though so will have buggered off hopefully by the time we get up there :-)
  6. Yeah she's a beaut, I've disconnected the bi-modal system in the exhaust tO really give it a proper exhaust note!!!

  11. The thing is I'm only doing the catback system as I'm not chasing that much hp, it's more just for the note that's all and having the ability to completely silence the vehicle when needed

Hey all, I have an FPV GS that I'm looking at putting an X-Force twin 2 1/2" cat back quad exhaust onto, I'm just trying to decide as to whether the varex mufflers are worth installing at the same time??? The exhaust I have currently had the Bi-Modal system which I love, but I'm yet to hear of anyone using the varex mufflers as I'd love the extra flow, power and noise of a modded exhaust but I also like being able to sneak out in the dead of night or rolling past the boys in blue. I'm unsure as to how much they are on top of the normal system, so any and all info would be great. Cheers Howsee

  15. The K&N made the midrange stronger and there's slightly more intake noise, I haven't had a chance to put it on the dyno to see if it's increased the power. Hardest thing with it is getting the power down off the line, with instant throttle response and boost it makes traction rather difficult. What is the difference between powdercoating and painting? I figured painting them would come off easier than a powdercoat... Cheers Howsee
  16. Figured I would start the thread on my GS, I've had it for just over a month now and love it. It's build number #0063, Silhouette with gold stripes and the ZF gearbox. Was originally looking at an F6 310 but couldn't go past the noise of the blown 8. Since purchasing the car I have added a K&N filter and window tint, dead stock the vehicle made 295rwkw/396rwhp and ran a 12.81@109MPH at willowbank the day afer I bought it. Plans include getting it tuned, powdercoating the wheels black and possibly an exhaust upgrade. I haven't taken any pics of it recently but these are from the first few weeks after purchasing it.   25. Loving it mate, haven't had any dramas with it. Am considering getting it tuned, I had a k&n filter put in today and it's already running a bit better with that, can't wait to get it tuned. The only real gripe that I could possibly have is that a car with this much power really needs bigger brakes than what are supplied, and will be something that will be addressed as soon as the factory rotors are shot to he'll. Great car, won't keep up with an F6 but sounds ten times better :-)
