Yeah they did mine. Had one earth wire come loose, from the plug at the back of the guage, couple of months later. Not sure if they were a bit rough with the plug or it was sh*t from the supplier. Fixed it myself

Good to hear mate. I did the same thing. Put a walbro in and problem gone. Seems to me that the problem is becoming more common as these cars get older

Mines a six speed manual and mine suffered from torque limits also.

Mate check all you turbo piping first for cracks,holes or loose clamps. See how that goes......

My wife drives ours too everyday. Then its my toy on the weekend. I don't see the point in buying a car to sit in the shed. Their fun to drive and that's what their designed for, (not to be parked.) My 2cents.

Mate in my XR6T the oil presssure sits low when warm idling. A bit higher when cruising and higher again when WOT. So not sure what yours is doing.

Thanks they both synthetic. Can't seem to get mobil1 in 10w40 only in 0w40. maybe I should just wait til the next change.

Hey guys this is for my other workute a mazda bravo. I wanna changed brands of oil to mobil1 but have half an old bottle from the last change. Can I mix them together? 10w40 Cheers

I think its when they put an addtiive in your engine/fuel (not real sure) and take it for a spin and its supposed to blow out all the carbon deposits. Had it done on mine without me even knowing til I saw the invoice. Don't think it made a noticable difference. Might help in the long run though.

My money would be on your tps ford powa. Mine did the same and got the tps replaced under warranty.

mate I've had heaps of probs with idling. unless it starts stalling I wouldn't worry. Could be a couple of things Dirty throttle body TPS (if this is problem, should get warning light on dash) Coils Mine seems to have come good recently with some mods., but I'm touching wood.

Mate it could be a lot of things. But I had something similiar(not quite the same mine would do it at different rpm). Mine turned out to be dodgy fuel pump. Just a guess mate. Hope ya get it sorted

I've got a smiliar smell but its most noticable when the driver window is slighlty down(circulates the air). I think mines from the boot leaking

Welcome mate. I have excatly the same car, different colour. You might wanna factor in valve springs. Got mine tuned and they were the first things holding me back(differs from car to car, but don't be suprised if ya need them). Depending on what power your chasing the injectors will be the next restriction. Cheers Pete

One on left doesn't work.

Guys saw one today but couldn't get a photo. I'll try again another day cause its there 5 days a week. It was a rapid xr6t with the black stripes around the bottom but it had a massive "turbocharged" sticker along the bottom of the doors that flow with the stripes, half height of the doors. IMO it looked terrible.

All T drivers be carefull. I hate how things happen in 3's
