here is another story to add to the mix lol. I was at a ford dealer today and I asked the salesman what he thought the delay was and his answer was "Apparently FORD have built 100 turbo models and each of them will be driven for 1000k's to determine if any problems arise, then if nothing comes of it then the production will start full swing" hmm...

well a dealer here in w.a have a range of BF F6's starting from $55,000 drive away... Some have more then a $8,000 saving... So wish I had alittle extra money!

If it were something to do with the dash though that means it would affect not only the turbo models but the XR6 and XR8 models aswell...

stay away from KKR ive heard nothing but bad reports... Apparently they will not bolt up to your standard/aftermarket exhaust you already have they require a custom dump pipe to be made up (well that was on a silvia anyway) and a host of other problems... A turbo is something I will only buy a trusted product I.e Garrett, Trust, HKS etc

Hey chaps, I came across an advert for a website called "discountnewcars.com.au" where they offer big savings on new or used cars. Has anyone used them?? I submitted an enquiry on the new FG 6T and funny enough I recieved a phone call from a chap at Titan Ford in melville saying they run part of the website... To my suprise that's exactly where I plan on buying my 6T from as im already dealing with a salesman there ( I just wanted to see if this website was legit or not)... Does anyone know if they can provide decent discounts like they say or is it just a ploy to get people in??? Cheers Ash

I rang the dealer who I will be hopefully purchasing my fg through and I asked whether the luxury pack can be ordered without the 19" wheels and there be a discount because of it. The reply the salesman got from ford was "we dont discount the luxury pack but will just swap the rims to 18" ones from a vehicle in your yard" Looks like the luxury pack isnt a go anymore! Does anyone know if you can purchase the "black" centre console section by itself?? I love the black instead of the silver.

howdy, I probably worded it wrong they look nice, but all the reports ive read said they aint really suited to the suspension setup etc for the new FG... but then again if I go for the lux pack and there is no discount on the rims then I will just order it with the rims and work it out from there...

did you drive a manual or auto?? If manual did you find it "clunked" at all like some people report?

if you order the luxury pack can you order it all minus the 19" wheel upgrade? Im just not keen on the bigger wheels but would love the leather and the rest of the bits you get. If you can do that what does the price come down to? Cheers guys
