Guys I went for a drive tonight and I'm assuming its just a relay but someone might be able to shed some light on prob... So headlights on, go to indicate and blue instrumentation light cluster drops out completely and radio iluminates brightly like it does in the day time.....you could hear the contacts in the relay fluttering, only way I could get them back on was to give the indicator stork a bit of a flick and they would come back on and radio lighting would go back to night time mode (very technical description haha) Any help appreciated thx

Tuning the ZF sounds like a real head f#@k is it really worth doing????.......I heard its about 2 weeks away.... I did the conversion to steel pan etc some time ago with TZ runs great no probs...if I had a hoist I'd do it myself its not a hard job really to do...used to do my C4 all the time..... P.S you need to teach me how to use live link 6.3...

Should only need 1.6 ltrs of diff oil go to supercheap or somewhere and get a hand pump like Arron said makes life alot easier.....Steve dont know what additive they are using mate but its not needed with the SAF-XA its already in it.......bout time you serviced the auto in your mega high k chariot or have you already done the conversion????

Its not a hard job really not much diff to doing my C4 back in the day... I have had the Steel pan conversion done...I have dropped the oil once and had TZ put in...and that was about 1-1/2 years ago and no probs at all. It is going to be dumped again soon and filled back up with TZ...I think that if you stick to the same routine in regards to warming up your driveline as I do everytime before I open her up all should be good , I think that this the key to longevity but I'm realistic enough to understand that wear will happen no matter what. My two cents

That really sh*ts me because I sent an email to Nulon a while ago asking them for there advice with the extra power that I was running and they recommended the 15w50 which I have been running for the last 25k (just serviced it @55k with 15w50 again,do it every 5k). I'm really over this subject how can Ford and other oils say run a 15w40 and others say a 0w40 for the same motor??? My way of thinking was with the extra power going up to the 50 wouldnt be such a stretch with the extra boost etc... I just think that I will give the 0w40 a go on the next change to see what it is like....very confused I'm going outside to have a beer and talk to my dog about it....haha

Yeah there the ones that Dean was practicing on with a cordless drill to port out the quad orifices to 90lb's Uneven spray patterns are ok arent they??? hahaha

Guys if anyone is interested I'm off loading my ETM replacement oil supply line kit with Earls filter as I am just going to turf the small screen out of the fitting in the block 2moro when I give it its 5k oil change....
