Time To Fit A Harness
Not sure if you have a 'Revolution Race Spares' Shop where you are, but they carry all the Eye Bolts and backing Plates etc. I don't go to the Drags, but my Harness is fitted to the back Parcel Shelf and passed scruteneering by the ARDC. - I don't have a Roll Cage! To fit the Harness correctly, it is easier if you fit a Race Seat, as the Centre mounting point is under the centre of the Seat. - All ftont mounting points are through the Floor with engineered Back Plates! Hope this helps!

What about those of us who bought '2' of these !@#$%^ units? I did mine yesterday and now I have to do my Wife's! I agree, this is a scam! Times must be really tuff!

Iam that mate! Half the fun is I have a few Die Hard mates who love it to and we just get out and have a go and then go and talk sh.. over a Beer after! It's a lot of fun trailing your mates Evo thru the Fish Hook and watching his front left Wheel floating about 3-4 inches off the Deck the whole way thru and out of the Corner. - We call it good management! You gotta come down one Day Buff!

I actually believe it isn't either Spiro, but you need to put it all together with a clear Track (No traffic) and good Tyres! It's a lot of fun practicing though!

Mal Wood Opt 3 Clutch Slipped
On the rare occassion I launch hard, with the TC on, the Car just over rides it and turns it off! - Been like that since I bought it! I don't bother turning it off at all because of this!

Got a 1min 7secs out of the old Bucket of Bolts at Wakefield on Monday. Track was as slippery as up until Lunchtime! - -4 degrees will do it! It will get a 6, but I ran out of Steer Tyres after Lunch! - Steel hanging out of them after 2 Track Days! - The best part of 2 Tonnes doesn't allow for good Tyre wear!

Fastest Manual Shifters?
The Hurst Rod is flat steel!(But shiny!) It has a Tremec branded Que Ball on top! It looks Retro, but works. You don't have to 'drive' it, but rather, let it fall into Gear when doing 2nd to 3rd and 4th to 5th, etc!

The Superlap V8 Supercar With Xr6T Motor
Fantastic job Boys! I still find it interesting that we all have to drop Power/Torque to get these Cars to put the power down out of the Corners. Any kind of full Slick seems to make a big difference though! What negative Camber did you finish up with at the front?

Fastest Manual Shifters?
You get them direct from Mal Alf! - With the Hurst Rod!

Fastest Manual Shifters?
I got one of these off Mal and I don't miss changes now! Great Shifter Mal!

The Superlap V8 Supercar With Xr6T Motor
Spent a couple of Hours in the Pits with the XR6 talking to the Crew! The Car was dynod at about 2.00am this morning. Made 560rwhp on 15psi! The boys have yet to get the Car on the Track! They have put some serious Hours and effort into getting it to the Track at all! They were hard at getting it sorted and should hit the Track for the 'first' time tomorrow! It is a full ex Touring Car with the XR6 Turbo Motor. From memory, it weighs in at about 1350kg. - Who here wouldn't kill for that? If it all comes together on the Day and it hooks up as required, it should pull some serious numbers!

Trans Cooler For Btr 4 Speed
I don't know about this unit, but I do know about having limited space to fit a Transmission Cooler! I have a Mal Wood Cooler for my Six Speed Manual, with an off/on Switch on the Centre Console. It is mounted under the Passenger side Floor at an angle down, giving it full frontal Air flow! - It has Ducting protecting it and a 'special' setup at the rear of the Ducting that causes it to 'suck' the Air through the Ducting, rather than rely on random Air flow- It doesn't need a Fan! I had the Ducting done in Sydney and have sent Photo's of the setup to Mal Wood! If you contact him, I have no doubt he can send you the Photos and get you an identical setup at an affordable price! I drive the Car every Day and take it to the Track/Circuit at an average of 2-3 Track Days/Month. - It works!

The Superlap V8 Supercar With Xr6T Motor
Your not wrong, it will be good to watch! It will be interesting to see how well he gets the power down out of the Corners! If he does, it will be hang the !@# on!

Great to have the support from Dunlop, but are they up to it?

Thanks mate! The 'newer' Tune gets the power down so good! Still have to be very careful with the loud Pedal though!

Went to the Anzac Day Circuit Club Day at Wakefield yesterday and got the '8'! Would have gone better, but I had a 'long' Brake Pedal that caused me to brake 'much' earlier than normal! I will have the Brakes looked at and have another go as soon as. Interesting thing is my mate had a problem with his Nissan, so I let him have a session and he went out and ran a bunch of 9's, with a best of 9.15! Bugger can drive anything.... I better get that 6, or he will make me look pretty ordinary! Track was pretty slippery to, (Wet initially) with plenty of offs, including my first 360 on to the main straight (Bonus for my passenger at the time) and a bit of off Road work at the end of Turn one. All in all a great Day was had by all!

Mystery Clunking
I have replaced the Turbo side Engine mount at least every 12 Months.(Heat). I have always been able to spot it by standing in front of the Car and seeing the Engine leaning to the Turbo side! - It is usually quite visible!

Australia'S Fastest Manual Ba/Bf
Soo close! Well done Spiro and Crew! I have no doubt you will get there!

My New Track Toy
Yep, good call! They have 'Bendy bits' on Circuits! - And it's all about being quick thru the Bendy bits! * Horse power is a bonus! MX5's are one of the best balanced Cars in the World and they are #@!$##%$ quick thru the Bendy bits!

More Problems
So you have replaced the stock 'in tank Pump' with a Walbro 'intank Pump'? - And your 'Base' Fuel pressure is 40? - Or maximum 40 at any RPM? I believe you need to maintain a 'Base' Fuel pressure of 50 with a rising rate, on boost, of up to 60 plus! - If this isn't happening, your Car will sufffer Fuel starvation at low RPM! * If it doesn't get over 40 at any RPM, you Pump isn't functioning properly! Are you running an after market Fuel Pressure Regulator? A good solution is the 'stock' intank Pump, linked to a 3ltr Surge Tank, with an external Bosche 044 bolted to the Surge Tank. If you go this Path, the smart solution is to get a Surge Tank capable of accepting a 'second' Bosche Pump, at a later Date, as you wind the Wick up! Just identified a 'similar' problem with my Data Logger!

There's a fair bit more left in it yet Spiro! A bit of tweaking by Con and lot of catch up by me, may yet get the best out of it! A little Birdy in Warwick told me your a hard Driver mate! - Had to go up a Week ago for a little TLC!
