I think you are right with that. I know Charlie was only asking $22k for it when he sold it though and that was with the FR19s too. Very nice car but with those wheels and how low it is I don't think it is suitable for a family car. Also I think it has a BF F6 engine in it he swapped out of his ute. If it were me I would go for the latest model with the lowest kays. Just my 2c

To answer your first part, Yes it is and to the second part I dont thik ANYONE on here who drives their car hard get 10-13litres whilst doing it. Check out what your fuel consumption is doing at 1/2 throttle in second and then full throttle in second. Do that a few times per tank and say hello to 16litres per 100k's and above.

I think what TAB was trying to say was stop driving like an idiot at other times and your consumption will come down! In regard to you saying LOL when Ford said that your rear tyres are scrubbed maybe that's why you have high consumption and people say change your driving style. Ford have said nothing is wrong with your car, you even said that cruising along it gets 7-10l/100. Its all in your driving, change it or keep the high consumption.

I am sure there is another around somewhere. Ill keep looking. Or maybe head to Ford in the morning and take a picture of one of their cars badges?

*Beep*, any idea what happened and how much oil came out when you replaced the oil? Or did you just TOP IT UP?

Dont drive it COMPLETELY like a grandpa. When accelerating get it onto boost, like 3000rpm, and use that to accelerate not the revs. I found that a better way to save fuel but not by much. Just remember these cars around town aint gunna get 10l/100k's Especailly if you only drive 10k's from startup which is what my missus does so fuel economy does suffer.

Have you calculated it EXACTLY from k's driven to how much fuel you used or just use the trip meter thing.
