1st Time Drag Racing
well done envy-t. that's a great time for basically stock T. If you can get your 60ft time down, mid 13's should be had. My 13.6 was done with a 2.00 60ft. You are right, drag racing becomes very addictive but it also heaps of fun. Good luck Cheers PSI

Take a drive out to the lake and take the beast up to the top of Mount Canobolas ( caution some dirt ) but nice views 3. Sample beers from any of the pubs in Summer Street 4. drop in to my mums place for a coffee.. 5. Find Mackies Cafe and feast on the best & biggest Damper Burger you will ever eat. Cheers PSI

1/4 Mile Record For Stock Manual?
AAHHHH does`nt this sound familiar ! XXXR6T. Well done champ ! I ran a 13.6 in my auto T with a modded airbox only. It is a well debated point on the stock vs modified but for what its worth I ran a 13.8 at WSID with the airbox hole covered so I would class that as stock.. others may disagree. Either way good effort in a manual :gasthrower:

6 Speed Auto Confirmed

Whats Quicker Manual T Or Auto T (1/4)

Whats Quicker Manual T Or Auto T (1/4)
My auto T with an XR8 airbox has run a 13.6 at WSID. The speed at 400m was 100mph. 13.4 & 107mph sounds impressive for a intake mods only. Cheers PSI

Boost Guage Mounting
Post of the year... One would wonder what else he has done to his car. Cut out the airbox with a set of rusty pliars, increased injectors capacity with a 'Bob the Builder' drill... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is why I've ALLWAYS been 2 step's ahead of you :o All LBP products have been street and track tested and not laminated on a sheet :o <{POST_SNAPBACK}> SUPERB !

Wsid 12th Jan
It just gets better I just got off the phone with WSID as I was curious about the "jackpot" for the 0.000 R/T. Apparently it went off last meet ( $700.00 ) and the kitty has not built up enough to offer it again. So If I had done the 0.000R/T before 9.00pm, last year, I would have scored $1000.00. Knowing my luck 10 other people would have the same time and we would have to split the cash.

How else would Steve know about the yet to be release STAGE 1 By the way my little boy needs his drill back.

Boost Guage Mounting
Jeff, there is only so much R & D you can do. Otherwise the costs of this excellent product would spiral out of control. I have done you and your customers a favour by releasing the product on the forum. ( free of charge too. ) Now just sit back and wait for the orders.................:

My mate with the black 5-speed XR6T won the $200 for second place in the reaction times with a .023 RT. What did first place get ?

Boost Guage Mounting
Last night at WSID, Low Boost Performance Pty Ltd ( owned & operated by XR6IKNESS ) unveiled their much anticipated boost guage mounting kit. It is obvious that many hours of R & D have been spent in bring such a high quality product to the marketplace. Key Features include * colour coded top suit the XR cabin * manufactured from a highly flexible medium to allow for cabin temperature variations * DIY simplicity Well Done Jeff.

But would you swap that 0.00 reaction for a 12.3et. 0.00 reaction is amazing. Brian <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Brian, I think I`ll keep the 0.000RT. I know if I throw enough money at the XR6T I could get a 12.3, but I doubt I will ever get another perfect light. Cheers PSI

Wsid 12th Jan
Ripped Off !! 0.000 reaction time & nothing PB`s were hard to come by with the heat spoiling any chance of good times. My best was a 14.4 & 99mph and my other 4 runs were around 14.4 - 14.5 It was good to meet some new T fans and catch up with some old ones. Thanks for the photos Phil, and also for giving BCL my five seconds of internet fame ( bas*ard  ) Cheers PSI

Premium Brakes/factory Or After Market
When I ordered mine the premo`s were $2950.00. Two weeks later the dealer phoned to tell me I had to purchase a 17" spare @ around $350.00. I argued that this need to be disclosed at the time of sale and ended up getting it for free.

Modifications
Guys & girls, I am interested in gauging peoples opinions when it comes to a "stock" XR6T. If the car has a different exhaust ie centre muffler removed, is it still stock ? In my case I modifed the airbox, does this constitute a stock vehicle ? Cheers PSI

Did The Awd Magna Turn Up At Wsid?
I PM`d illhas to organise the night and set a few things straight. I did not receive a reply so I assumed we were dealing with a 15yr old who has dreams of drag racing his mums 2.6L Sigma.. Besides it was my wedding anniversary...

Racing The Standard Turbo
Gavin, I have run 3 x 13.6 on a very cold night at WSID. 13.8 seems to be the most consistent time I get. Looking at ILLHAS` time there wont be much in it if we run our best times. 13.644 vs 13.648....... Should be a good night, lets hope a few Ts turn up to cheer me on Cheers PSI.

Typhoon 1/4 miles
The loudest, and those with the largest signatures, probably do so because of some major deficiancy in their mental wellbeing and self esteem. And they'll do almost anything to better past efforts and speak out against those who don't agree with them and their sad religion We all know quarter times maketh the man <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Talk about sweeping generalisations! Just because some of us enjoy the 1/4 do not assume that we are all tarred with the same brush. I enjoy the night out and the chance to better my own time. I do not force this chose "religion" upon any one and do not door nock handing out the WSID equivalent of the Watchtower. In regards to the size of signatures equalling mental & personal stability, I do not have a self esteem problem and after my last inkblot test I was classed a SANE, I am however proud of the fact that I have run a 13.6 in a stock boost/exhaust XR6T. Pick your fights with your chosen protaganist but be ready for s#it fight if you want to bring other members into fray. PSI

Lets go racing

FPV
I guess so. I don't think too many will argue that 13.6 is a bad time for a stock XR6T. :o <{POST_SNAPBACK}> With a 2 second 60' time I don't think it is the driver helping the 13.6 achieved. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> With a stock car What else would be helping. The Sydney equivalent of the Fremantle Doctor ? a 2.0 60" time is quite fair for a XR6T. I think only big mick and perhaps Geea have gone 1.9 on street tyres. ( pls correct me if I am mistaken ) PSI
