Phantom Drivers - Paint Quality

Featured Replies

I hope it's just me but in some recesses I hope it's not but are you guys suffering paint quality issues?

I have small pinprick paint pops over the driver side front tyre well (near the front lights) that cannot come as stone chips as I've not driven anywhere but on sealed roads and the way it is starting to look is worrying me about the overall paint quality.

The paint looks bloody thin and the stone chips I have got seem to go all the way to base metal - there seems to be no resistance in the paint or undercoat at all.

Maybe I'm just unlucky.

Btw - does anyone know in the ACT where I can get a Car Bra?

I think you can order the original "car bra" over the internet.

almost 12000 km in a phantom sedan, all sort of road driving conditions (except for dirt) and the paint is fine.

I didnt get the ford paint protection, I got it done through a relo who has a detail business. I should add, that he does maintenance on my car every 6 months also........infact, got done last sat, I can see my refection in the paint..........sweeeeeet :)
