But if I disconnect the pipe from intake side of cross over to bov I can rev it oit and boost has brand new plugs and packs genuine

Natho724 New Member 18 Member For: 7y 6m 23d Posted 24/02/19 11:36 AM Author Posted 24/02/19 11:36 AM I hooked up a boost gauge it hitting 14 psi with the hose connected. And 7 with it not connected actuator seem to be working alright I liked it up and blew air in it and could hear it moving

Natho724 New Member 18 Member For: 7y 6m 23d Posted 24/02/19 11:47 AM Author Posted 24/02/19 11:47 AM No it only stock so it's definatly over boosting

Natho724 New Member 18 Member For: 7y 6m 23d Posted 24/02/19 12:02 PM Author Posted 24/02/19 12:02 PM Is there a way to test the Waste gate or do I have to remove the turbo and how to do tell if there is a tune I thought they hade to have a sct tuner with them or is there other ways to tune these forgive my ignorance first barra turbo

Nah, they don't have to be tuned via sct... they can be tuned via hptuners and pcmtec, too. If you can prove via a compressor that it's opening at hte correct pressure, then it's probably got a tune in it. Take it to ford and get them to put a stock tune back in it, if your car has all stock parts
