I know wheels are a personal taste thing, but why do you want it to look like a hq gts?

I cant find many rims with a that are 17 or 16 x10.5+ inch that will fit, I find it hard to put down 550rwkw with 9.5s , do you know any sites that do? I was planning on painting them black as well to go on the G6e.

widening your tyres will hardly help with the 550rwkw problem haha

the tyre compound/construction and the road stickiness is a hugely greater benefit than overall tyre width.

I'm still stuck on 550kw with stock brakes?! :o

I am running  michelin cup 2 ,245x40x18 they are really good when hot , yeah tell me about it they warp when ever I boot it I've been looking at the 6pot and 4 pot brembos its 5k though

So you've got 245s on a 9.5 rim, they can take a 285 (depending on tyre brand) at a pinch so plenty of room there but I'm guessing you like #stretchlyf

You can get decent grip without having a massive arse sidewall

But if that's what you want, @Ford Freak has some tough wheels on his ute

Do some digging through these threads and the wheels/tyres sub-forum, your kw-to-tarmac issue isn't anything new and there are heaps of options out there
