Hello ford family

Just bought a ex cop car 2 months ago xr6turbo love it to s$%t

It came with the brembo upgraded break system just curious what pads I should be using as they are worn to near nothing

and how much should I be paying . I'm completely capable of ripping the pads out myself so I can save some money any help would be appreciated .

Also from when I first got it to now feels like the turbos lagging any way to check it any noises I should be aware of ???

Taking it around the mates this weekend to use his car hoist

*brakes

Project MU NS400's are my pick for a street car. Unfortunately you're about to find out opinions on brake pads are like arseholes.

If it's not feeling as quick as it used to, check all the exhaust manifold/turbo mounting hardware is tight and there are no leaks. Check the intake piping for loose clamps/potential leaks.

If you don't find anything you've probably just become used to the power.

still surprises me that so called car guys think they are 'breaks'...

give the boost solenoid a spray with wd40 as well. the bum dyno usually appreciates it.

Whs.^^

I run those pads on t3 front rotors and fark me if the car doesn't stop in a hurry.

My car did the same thing as yours not long after I bought it. I tightened the turbo and manifold bolts and it was a new car again.

Check your tb to cross over rubber fitting as mine had split.

P.s if they are worn to fark and broken then they could be breaks?...

Ok I'll let myself out now.

Lol he'll either not give a fark and take it with a grain of salt as he should do or he'll get butthurt af.

My money is on him not giving a fark.

Spraying boost solenoid does absolutely jack. WD40 can't get to the solenoid as it's a normally closed solenoid so any spray will just sit up against the wastegate actuator diaphragm and when the solenoid opens it just vents to atmosphere.
