need help, fg turbo blow blue smoke

Featured Replies

my 320rkw fg turbo 100k only recently blow blue smoke sometimes, not that bad just light blue smoke, not doing itall the time.

what could be the problem ? turbo seal? piston ring?

blue smoke means burning oil, apart from keep top up oil, what other damage would do if I just leave it ignored? plan to add a bottle of engine repair see if help

please help me

Id suggest taking to your tuna asap mate.

Id say its the turbo failing tbh but if its the pistons then u dont wanna drive it for to long.

Compression test would be wise at this stage!

@Ralph Wiggum thoughts?

Oil past the turbo isn't blue.

sorry could it be the engine?

Yes very much could be!!

Did u do the mods? Or buy as is?

As suggested get it to Machanic asap preferably the tune shop that did the work on it.

( stay off boost until then )

When the last time you did a oil change or service on the car?

Have you cleaned the turbo oil filter?

:useless:

I see the OP was on yesterday. Is there an update to this?

@mike0819, Did you manage to get it to a mechanic or the shop that tuned it?
