That's funny as man! when my old BA had its turbo replaced they left the hose off the compressor and the thing was blowing hoses everytime it saw any boost.

I tried to log it once and pretty sure it was spiking straight upto 20psi (somehow didn't blow the motor up).

After the first time it broke down on me I decided to not go wot and just baby it around till I could figure it out. Response was good. Boost would build quick and I'd hold it at around 3 or 4 pounds and short shift.

Id be happy with that kind of power and response for now.

Now that it's fixed it's back to slow boring spec.

So far so good with these cheap rotors and pads. No warping yet and I've been into them. Heated them up good going down Mt Ousley with a full car and no shudder just a slight pulse from the pedal which I would guess is the rears as they're now due.

Might match a pair of rears and see how they go.

Transmission cooler seems to be doing a good job. It mirrors coolant temps most of the time. Biggest difference I've seen was on a cold morning it was 5* cooler than the coolant but that didn't last long.

Dumb question time. Can you run aux or a/m h/u on the base icc? Or do I need to upgrade it to one that at least has aux input?

you can get an aux adapter from ford for the stock ICC, but the audio quality is average at best... if you want to upgrade, the options are endless in cost and quality :spoton:

Good news: All the ICC's have aux input! you can actually wire it up yourself with maybe a few bits from jaycar or buy a kit from ford.

Then you press AM twice and it'll come up with aux :)
