Give brad a call. 7500rpm is a big call for the I6 isn't it!? that's steel crank territory. With the long stroke, piston speed (feet per minute ) becomes excessive. High RPM needs forged pistons for starters..
September 6, 201610 yr #213 I wonder how many L it holds and if they might run out over the weekend...
September 6, 201610 yr #214 Based on the organisation that's going into this year, Im thinking this might be something the commitee is all over. Well fingers crossed haha
September 7, 201610 yr #218 No wonder I didn't come first last two times I entered...not running E85!
September 11, 201610 yr #219 Author im hoping that someone on here can do well on the strip. A "friend of a friend" (sales rep that's helping us build and a great guy) will have a ~450AWHP (note - HP) rex that seems very confident against our high powered taxis. Now im not an asphalt master, but my thoughts is roll-on would help reduce the disadvantage of a RWD high powered car. His claim is he has never been chopped by said vehicles. Now its not an average burbler, close to race spec... 1100kg I think. but I feel like it can be done. will make notes closer to the event. Hands up? TL;DR - need someone to chop a rex. Toads, looking your way.
September 11, 201610 yr #220 One thing for the WRX's what is the ratios's in it? They tend to lose legs when the distances get greater. Just in the 1/4 mile a WRX is top of 4/into 5th going through the speed trap
