You will need to do some wiring changes as Mk1 uses a H4 which has a dual element globe with low and high. The wiring (for only the low beam) is probably just a matter of getting or making a connector(s) for the pins of the new globe type and removing the old connector and then joining just the pos/neg of the wiring as you don't need the relay portion anymore.
