Ross Forged Pistons

Anyone ran a ross forged piston in there barra fg turbo..ive done a ring in my standered motor and looking at getting these installed. Only running 370kw.

and bore machining for this size piston seen they run bigger clearances

Yeah I am. There a fully forged piston unlike a few other brands so will have clearance. Seems alright so far up to 430kw. They do rattle on cold start but what forged piston doesn't.

So is it just 20tho that needs to be machnied. They got f*ck all info on the site..

Forgings have come a long way since days of old. Run pretty tight tolerances with no or minimal "knock"

Has to be bored to suit the new pistons.

Any idea how much has to be bored with this kit

It says "Bore size +0.5mm" plus whatever piston to bore clearance they recommend, I'm sure that your machinist will be able to tell you this?
