It goes to the surge as there is an overflow out of the surge that goes back to the tank.

Matty, did you go to the KPM night at CMS???

Find it a bit funny how we have been using 255's feeding surge tanks for donkeys years with no issue but now that KPM have an intank solution we are now cooking our fuel.

External surge with a large pump slowed by a controller has been doing fine in my car for years, even at the track on hot days.

Nah mate I had to work that night

But I think it was stuff I was already familiar with

I think surges filled the gap for a while and the surge always had heating issues but there is plenty more options for adequate intank fuelling for most applications nowadays.

What a time to be modding cars.

Wasn't too long ago 300rwkw was crazy territory

Hi Rednose.

As we continually stated at our fuel info evenings, we are not here to knock surge tanks, just give the advantages of intank systems vs Surge tanks..

Surge tanks have been around for a long time and have done there job while no other option was availble. Now we have a dedicated and engineered inatnk set up designed for the BA-FG falcons and soon to be released for VE-VF Commodores and GTS.

Just like the push bike was around before the car, doesnt mean its better, it served a purpose.

The most classic exapmle that comes to mind is the Ford community was so against Flash Tuning on their BA Falcons because they were so used to piggy back set ups. The argumant was always it does its job perfectly so why touch it.

Reality is that it does its job, for whats availble.

As through history innovations and improvements come with resistance.

Whats the most power the KPM intank has seen on Joes Dyno?

I am not sure , You may need to ask Joe that one. Joe has fitted our smaller Streetfighter 1000hp intanks. He is yet to fit our new Streetfighter 1500 hp intank system..

My kpm twin 300s is at 440rwkw on e85 with plenty more room to play around with

What afr, and how do you know there is more room to play with?

I can't recall Joe ever having the fuel module on his dyno, is there another way to see?

Calculate liters per hour to kw rating

Hypothetically it should go to about 550rwkw and still be safe based on 600lph flow

I'm about turn the wick up on my turbo and should get high 400s
