Not exactly gunna, I went to Ford and told them that my gearbox would grind when changing into second and third under high load and the dealer even replicated the problem and filed for the warranty work but Ford came back and said no...I mean seriously? It's supposed to be a performance car FFS.

Not sure if you were around the forum when I had my turbo FG or not but my issues with Ford gearboxes and diffs have spanned two cars. My turbo had gnarly rollover noise, and not just regular "oh yeah, that's normal for these gearboxes" kind of rollover, this was proper loud...workshop over here said it was the loudest they'd ever heard. The diff on the turbo leaked (they all do eventually) and needed rebuilding.

It's 2014, I paid $65,000 for a car that, engine aside, feels like a $30,000 taxi with a bit of cheap leather splashed inside it.

I know I didn't admit it initially (probably a pride thing and trying to justify my purchase to myself) but it really is a night and day difference driving the two cars back to back. The VF is 10 years ahead of the FG in every way except power...but honestly, it's really not that often I use all the power my car has anyway. Most of the time I'm just sitting in traffic in the suburbs...in which the VF would be much more comfortable.

Well I owe $16k on the GT now, so if I sold it for $55k and fleet price puts the Redline close to that then I can pay $40k cash then pay the rest on my credit card then balance transfer it so I don't pay any interest while I pay off the remainder...winning!

there's definitely NOTHING wrong with VF's... no manufacturing faults, no money wasted on gimmicks and features... nah... not your money (and mine and every other tax payer's money)...

I'll be getting 15 model for that very reason. Not really interested in the Lowndes model, don't like the stripes on the VF, believe it or not haha

I just find it amusing that people think a car with 270kw and 500Nm+ is slow or underpowerd.

If the daily commute to work is a race track than yes perhaps you could actually probably use all of that power and some. But with the speed limits, speed cameras and traffic jams around every corner big power is useless.
