Mine had the following:MIL light on with codes P138 & P1386 (intake & exhaust cams too far advanced). Idle worse than normal (which isn't particularly smooth anyway)Otherwise it seemed to drive as normal. I had no idea. Just a bit of rough idle, sometimes, which I put down to the old stock valve springs at the time. Could have been both, who knows!
