getting for the rear some achilles 123 semi slick of garage one for $320 delivered to my door .used to run them on a hyunday exel at lake side ,and they were ok for traction .I am only going to use them at power cruise and the drags at willowbank on september the 11th. has anyone had them on there ute or car ?and what did they go like with the power of the xr6 turbo . was going to use et streets but at $570 delivered . or the nt 555r for $ 650 delivered ,I thought the achilles 123 are a cheap option . also are the territory steel wheels to heavy to use ?

I run the 265's on an 18" rim for the street. I used them at the drags once just for sh*ts and giggles with only 500rwhp and managed a 1.6 60ft. a mate has run the 235's in the 17s and they were poo for the track compared to ET streets. They might be ok with the HP you are making, but being a semi they do wear fast.

Used to run them on a Hyundai Excel at Lake Side, and they were ok for traction.

It is fairly hard to get the power down in an excel

lake side is a race track near brisbane ,back in the late 80s they stopped racing v8 supper cars there .and now it gets used for all kind of cars to race on .well I tell you know that most of the xr turbo cars would get beaten by them as the hyunday handles so well . especially with semi slicks

the semi slicks will only ever see track days and the drags . If they wear out fast, I would not give two pumps up a camels ass

hooked up every run . and ok I know I only have just over 300 rwkw

Ill agree with ya bud, I ran the 235/45 17's on mine when I still had about 400ish hp and they hooked up perfectly even in a manual at the drags. although when I went to 500hp they didnt give much grip off the line.

a week before powercruise I lend them to a mate of mine that has a fg turbo ute with 315 rwkw ,and he bought some on the way down to powercruise as he thought they were a great bargain
