Crossover Pipe At 450+Rwkw

I had a mate run 400+kw with stock cross over years ago, on a hot QLD day going for a squirt it actually melted the hard plastic piping the goes from turbo to cross over. I wouldnt advise it...

I had 413 with the crossover and herrod CAI.
Went turbo side and will never look back

I have a crossover intake, I replaced the standard air box with a streetfighter box, and the intake muffler with 4" silicon 90degree bends the vacuum sound is all but gone and its all spool. Only running 18 psi atm, as when it was tuned it still had standard valve springs which have since been replaced. I believe this combo has a bit more headroom in it yet.

I wanted the exact same as u mate and wanted that stock look..

I ended up with the PW Street Airbox as mentioned above..

I love the look of my setup and was happy to sacrifice a few KW for the look I wanted..

Iv modded the PW unit to fit the stock OTR air intake.. Sik'ad a piece of silicone into the side with a hole cut into side panel..

On a "normal" QLD day the intake sits at about 29deg and iv seen it as low as 19 (it usually adds around 6deg from a few tests).. which I dont think is too bad.. im positive under normal driving it lowers the intake temps..

I cant comment on the pressure etc but I think its a good mod to do if your stuck on the crossover..

I love my stock look bay. At just over 400kw. I will cop the loss on the chin as I prefer my setup over a loud air box. I may go pt or gtx later on and will keep the stock X over

what model does the OP have?, b series crossovers are a lot different to FG
