So I wanna set up an Ipad mini or Ipod touch with my music and to run torque or one of those obd2 Bluetooth apps. Does anyone know if IPads work properly with music and Charging with the FG mk1 ipod system. My IPod cable was dodgy when I got it, not always working or charging my iPhone and soon broke catastrophically. ill have to fork out for a new one to do the setup.

Someones got a 2nd hand IPad mini for a good price ill buy if it'll work properly.

Just remember torque will only work on an Android device

Apple don't allow blue tooth connections to non approved devices

I'm not to sure on Apple and torque devices

Best beat would be get a super cheap android device (you can pick up tablets now for sub 200) and run that

Your right about apple not working with bluetooth so ill just get a wifi dongle instead.

I want the tablet running my music library as well which is why I want an apple device, I absolutely hate the static on the aux input even with a noise filter.

So a relative turned up the other day with an ipad using a lighting plug. Tried the 2 different adapters I had found but neither worked. Lightning devices must be restricted to an AUX input.

Going to go with a Nexus 7 I thinks

New iPoo'ed doesnt automatically connect to the stereo after a restart (key out, key in) you have to unplug the device and plug it back in again. (With latest update on iPoo'ed and car with latest update).
