Picked up the car this afternoon from Mick at Pit Lane and I love the results !!

We ended up going with the following mods after speaking of a power figure around 250rwkw, I know that figure isn't ground breaking and most would get bored of this power but I know that with increased power there is more chance for things breaking and the cost just goes through the roof...

- Bosch 42lb injectors

- Walbro fuel pump

- PW stage 1 intercooler (already fitted)

- 5" Outlaw Hi flow cat

- Xcal 4 with Mick's tuning power

- NGK spark plugs

- New thermostat

Left the car with Mick for a few days to fit the parts and tune it up and was really happy with all his updates on what was happening. Mick reported that the cross over pipe had come lose on the throttle body and the rubber grommets holding it in place had broken so he sourced some new ones and installed those in. I was glad that before the tune the coil packs were inspected as they look like they might need replacing soon. Also asked Mick to fit a new fuel filter (which wasn't easy with the rounded nuts) as I wasn't sure when the old one was replaced and it came to mind that the turbo and manifold bolts hadn't been checked. Turns out two bolts were missing so lucky we checked those as well !

Mick called me up on the Tuesday to report that he had achieved more than the 250rwkw mark up to around 280rwkw which I was more than happy with :dancing: So we confirmed that we should leave it at that power figure and the tune could be tied up and finished. I didn't want Mick to tell me the final power result until I came to get the car :D

We ended up with 288rwkw at 12psi which I was more than happy with and was amazed at the power on the drive home ! When I had the EL Turbo it was making around 185rwkw and the extra 100rwkw on this car and the way it delivers the power is amazing ! I asked Mick to make the car so it could still be daily driven but then with the power there when needed. When he showed us the dyno sheet he thoroughly explained all of what was going on and how it worked. Very impressed with the graph lines !

I've got to say a huge thank you to Mick and Belinda with their team at Pit Lane for the time and effort they have spent answering my questions, doing the work and tuning while taking time to explain what it all meant while with a smile :) Will certainly be going back for some more work !

Will upload the dyno sheet tomorrow as I can't seem to get a copy uploaded.

Pit Lane seen to have this habit of 'delivering what the customer asks for'.

Good work guys

Will have to meet up with you when I come back down to Melbourne in October

Cheers Steve, Yeah I tried the upload services but I think the copy I had last night when I scanned it was causing issues... All good now it's there for all to see :D

It's amazing how great these cars feel with the right tune and work !

Pit Lane certainly does deliver on what the customer asks for but are also honest with what they think the car will make without fudging numbers.

Let us know when you are down in Melbourne, would love to check out your car !

The price of the sub mattyp? From memory it was $100 bucks on ebay delivered from America, hope it sounds alright !

Also priced it against what stores had it for or could order it in for and no one could beat that price.
