Disconnect Wastegate

Will disconnecting the actuator rod to the wastegate arm limit the power or is it better changing it back to the standard actuator?

Road worthy gays said "too much power 20% increased from standard"

I cant retune because no one tunes the old cappa flash boxes anymore.

What did the guy test with to come up with that figure? Where in a rwc does it state to check the power of the vehicle ? As far as I know that is only <20%> used for a engine size capacity increase before it is deemed to need an engineers report for the larger capacity engine.

Yer, I was gonna ask him that. Its weird how FPV dont have to comply to any ADRs when they do there mods.

FPV do meet emission regulations, but any manufacturer can change the car and get it emission passed to be legal, I.e HSV did with Mafless tunes.

Would changing the actuator to the standard 4psi cause any problems? It wont be plumb to the solenoid just actuator to compress housing

Jam the actuator/wastegate open, get him to re-drive the car, and say you detuned.

Its in the national code of practice for light vehicle construction and modification NCOP 14 which I know is used in QLD.

Ether go to a different rwc and tell them it only makes 15% over stock or get a LA4 mod plate.
