  • n/a motor will have higher compression ratio than turbo motor. Just buy F6 short.

  • N/a is more than likely to have the small rods even in fg ,may aswell buy the gas engine with big rods and higher compression if using e85. Pretty sure your tuner Rapid had previously done this on a G

I've been running 350rwkw on 98 for over a year now, about 20,000 Kay's. Car has 115xxx now.

It's a bf2 xr6t so f6 internals. Hasn't missed a beat on 16 psi. *touch wood* haha.

As for E85 a few people have been telling me 400rwkw no worries but I'm also looking at a new bottom end just to play it safe :)

I got quoted $2600 + gst for a phoon block from ford

=$2860

Went with

$250 2nd hand 2008 09 ba motor

$2335 spool rebuild kit

$900 machining

= $3485

The rest will cost the same anyway, so for roughly $600 more I've got a built bottom end with a balanced crank.
