Anyone tell me what power I should theoretically be able to obtain on e85 with these bosch 1000cc inj on my fg. I have a Process West new surgy with twin dw300 pumps and standard fuel rail. Was told my duty cycle was about 95% on e85. My dyno read out shows @lambda 0.9 across entire rev range. Boost was 16psi and peak midrange at 18 then backed down to 16psi.

1000's on e85 on lambda .80 should see 460rwkw at 90% DC maybe a touch more DC

If your toping out at 95% DC at lambda 0.9 u have two issues

One is farking lean

Two the slopes seem to be hugo mungusly wrong

I know one very well regarded sydney tuner who goes as lean as 0,90 on e85 but also has a few decent titles against his workshop but that's a bit to lean for me ( not saying it doesn't work )

95% DC should be the most upper limit of any injectors range to work well

Yeah im thinking of upgrading injectors as they were purchased way back when my goal was only 300rwkw. Since then I have a built atomic built engine so my power hunger changed. Only had car for 2 months tuned and I want 2 get the a bit more out of my duel pump surgy.

Nothing to do with the slopes. Either the ethanol content is much higher than 85%, the cylinders / head / cams have had some serious work, the fuel pressure is set wrong, turbo is amazing, they're not actually 1000cc etc etc

That duty at that psi is odd....check fuel pressure.

Rodger that. Car has the PW stage 1 fuel kit which includes new pressure regulator. Tuner did the full install so I mite mention the pressure idea to him.

Veva went 500 on 1000's with e85 at that lamba, may have even had a bit of e98 in there and I'm sure boost was way more than 18psi,

maybe ~23-24psi.

ID1000's should be good for over 500, at least I hope they are as these will be the injectors I purchase when I fit the GTX.

Think it might of been e98 when he ran out at 500. @ 25psi & between .8/.85 lambda we were seeing 600kw & that's on multiple dynos
